So after researching a couple of different headsets I decided to go with the EACH G2000. I did not want to spend a lot of money as generally I use it only for some gaming and light skyping/team speak duty. I looked at a couple of SADES headsets but decided I wanted one with 3.5mm connectors vs the USB of SADES. I am very happy with the purchase as they provide excellent crisp sound and really nice base. They sound much better then my Logitech set I had previously which broke on me after years of use. Weather they are durable time will tell. For the price I find it hard to believe you can find better and unless you are a real hardcore audiophile you will have a hard time finding any negatives with these. I spent a lot of time looking up headphones before making a purchase. I really like these. They fit over my ears nicely and the pads are nice and comfortable but they headset is still a little snug. (I also don't wear them everyday so they might loosen up a little over time) The sound is great, and the feature of being able to adjust the volume by moving a dial on the cord is really useful. The cord is a nylon like fabric, i like the idea, but it's starting to "fuzz" a little, which has me concerned about the life expectancy of the cord. the light up feature is awesome, and If i don't want it all I have to do is leave the USB out. When I received them my Gamer Boyfriend actually tried to trade me his expensive turtle beach headset because he liked the feel of mine better (I do too). So overall for the price these are a great product for the price. THE DOWNSIDE WAS THE PACKAGING. When i opened my amazon shipping box I was immediately upset because 1) the box they were in was half opened and looked partially destroyed. 2) the box depicted a red headset and I had ordered the blue one for a reason. upon opening it the headset looked in fine condition and it WAS the blue one. It would just make me a little Leary of ordering another one just from that fact.

I purchased this headphone to compliment my Black with Blue accents set up. I am surprised and extremely pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the sound produced by what would be considered a budget buy. I dealt with the hanging weight of the controller by clipping the cord to the neck of my t-shirt with a binder clip. This works very nicely for me as I am not a gamer and usually just listening to music while working on the computer. A great buy for the money

Do not buy this crap. I waited a week for these to come and they finally came. I plugged everything in the right way and they were complete trash. I tried to talk to my buddies over Skype and many other methods of communication and they said I was incredibly quiet. I completely wasted my evening on this trying to make it work but everything I tried didn't work. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!!!!

I really, really wanted to like these headphones. They look cool, and they work for JUST headphones, but the mic is very finicky. First off, the mic-in and the headphone-out are two separate cords, so if you want to hook it into one normal slot, you have to buy an adapter. I have tried it for gaming some, and it's hit or miss there. However, the headphones are almost unusable for use as a headset with a phone. The headphones work fine, but the mic crackles when you get near ANY other electronic device. I have been very disappointed with this product so far.

Exactly what I was looking for. Update: I finally tried out the microphone. It works. Must use the same volume control that comes with the headset and apply the settings in your Win7. I would not recommend enabling the Microsoft Boost factor past 10 db. Static is noticeable. Better off keeping it disabled as it is by default. To apply those settings, left click on the Speaker icon next to your clock on the Taskbar. Then select Mixer. Afterwards, System Sounds. Click on the Recording tab and then Microphone. Choose Configure or Properties when highlighted. You can listen to your device in the Listen tab at Properties. Test it out as I have and you will hear how clear your voice is from that short distance. Ask others to speak so you can hear theirs as well. Good way to know the distance in which you can't theirs no more, because when you can't, neither will any others hear that background noise online. ;)

I ordered this to replace my old gamecon headset. Appearance wise, it is great. Comfortable, sleek, and seemed rather durable. The packaging was minimal and came with two booklets. Not much explaining but any pc user will survive (well, most anyway). The shade of blue is exact as in picture so, do not expect something out of shade. The one thing that killed it for me was the Mic. You will have to mess with the settings on your system to make it audible. Anywhere from upper 90s and a bit of toying with the channels. Though after it reaches audible level, you will hear static (assuming you can hear what you say on mic). Not too bad but its there nonetheless.performance aside, the mic is the only piece likely to be damaged. It is stiff, and liable to break off in case of trauma. The cording however is braided and seems rather durable. The singular hole for the mic is the only thing that truly killed me with this purchase. For that reason alone it deserved 2-3 stars.
