"Premonition"/"When All the Pieces Fit"/"Now"
I recently purchased these 3 cd's to fill-up my post "Frampton Comes Alive" collection. If you like love Peter's playing and writing, beyond just the hits, I recommend adding everything you can obtain for your collection! He never disappoints! People who gave up on Frampton, after the hits stopped coming, really did miss out on a plethora of wonderful playing and writing by Peter. "Breaking All The Rules" should have put him back on top but, the public can be fickle. Like many, I was introduced to Peter through the release of "Frampton Comes Alive" at the age of 13. Since that time, he's never failed to disappoint... live or in the studio, with great songs (originals and well chosen covers), great hooks and MONSTER tone! The only downer with purchasing the 'print-on-demand' items from Amazon is the lack of liner notes. I love to read the liner notes to see who played what and on which tracks, who wrote, produced, engineered, etc. I am an admitted liner note junkie BUT, you still get the tunes! So, if all else fails in your search... 'print-on-demand' will certainly fill the bill. So, Frampton fans... don't wait any longer, BUY NOW!!!

Frampton Still Alive
Bought album just for the amazing cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Rest of album has few fireworks, but a nice progressive jazz idiom here and there. Frampton is the gadgeteer par excellence and among the few remaining best of his instrument.

Really nice album
I bought it because I was a fan of his in the 70s and after seeing the good reviews here. At first I thought it sounded kind of generic, like he was just making an album for something to do but after 8 or 10 listens I'm really getting to like most of the songs. It takes many listens to get to really like some albums, but that's when you really start to love the songs. Now I'm going to buy some more of his newer albums that I missed. I like his sound as much now as I did back in the 70s. He hasn't lost his good taste in music.

Like Schwarzenegger in Terminator, He's Back!!!
After a nine year absence from releasing a studio effort, Frampton is back with NOW. Peter says it best in a line from the seventh track, "Like Schwarzenegger in Terminator, I'm Back". And indeed, he is. One of the greatest guitar players of all time has shown is still has it in this new release. The CD has a bit of everything. It starts out with the hard-driving "Verge of a Thing", followed by a couple of beautiful ballads; "Gone But Not Forgotten" makes us contemplate the days after 9/11, and "Mia Rose" will be loved by anyone who has sung a lullabye to their child. George Harrison is also remembered not only in the blazing "My Guitar Gently Weeps" cover, but also subtly in the sitar sounds in "I Need Ground". For the guitar purists, there is the instrumental "Greens". In between are other great songs, including my favorite "Love Stands Alone".It is great to hear new music from a talented musician.

Amazing!
You hear some of the Frampton sounds from the 70's but a lot of new sounds too. He is an amazing artist and grew in his craft through the decades. This CD is a great representation of this.

Awesome... Always awesome... :)
I loved this when it first came out. I've seen Peter Frampton play many, many times throughout the years. Always loved the old stuff, but LOVE the new stuff. Super cool.
