Works as advertised.
The product is cheap, and it does what it says it does. Bought this for my friend that didn't feel comfortably sharpening knives the old fashioned way. She uses this and loves it. Works perfectly.

Like New
I received this product yesterday and I must say I'm impressed. I placed it on my counter and proceeded to sharpen my knives it worked great. I can honestly say that my knives are like new again. I recommend this kitchen sharpener to everyone in need of restoring the sharpness of their knives.

Meh.
Sharpens knives well. Doesn't stick to all surfaces as suggested. I have it attached to my glass-top stove but it wouldn't stick to my wood countertops at all.

Has design flaws which can make it dangerous/useless
Worked initially then the suction cup broke off making it completely useless and dangerous to continue trying to use... I won't buy another one but for the first week, it was great..... Redesign the suction cup to make it great again!

Better ones out there
The good: suction cup very strong; sharpens very wellThe bad: looks and feels very cheap; CARBIDE BLADES ARE NOT REVERSABLE; mine came with rust stains on the surface and had rusted screws on the bottom of the device.The "sunrisepro" is much sturdier and has carbide blades which can be reversed (doubles its life) when they get dull. Unfortunately, it double the price of this item. The "emeril" brand is the best deal.

very handy sharpens knifes good but be careful suction does not work good the piece slide on the counter and you can cut your hand
