Solar Lighthouse Garden Stake Light with Revolving Beacon, 31" tall, Red & Ivory

This is so cool! It's a good height, not too small or large, perfect for a front walkway! It works perfectly so far, but we've only had it a few days. It was so easy to install (just turn it on and put it where you want it) and the stake is a nice plus even though the lighthouse is heavy enough to take some wind. We had 50 mph winds a few days ago right before I put it out, so it wasn't tested under those conditions. It's a quality item, nice paint job (I didn't have to repaint anything on it), and looks great!Update: 1 week later: We had 35 mph winds yesterday and today and it never budged! The 600mah Ni-Cad battery didn't work overnight on cloudy days, so we put a 2450mah NiMH battery in it and it now rocks! I'm almost afraid cars are going to think we have a police car sitting at our home! haha

I would give it a zero if allowed. The on/off switch was broken. The top did not fit/lineup correctly so it wouldn't rotate as it should. The quality and design were extremely poor! The concept is great, but this was returned immediately. I will compliment the return - which was excellent. The refund was done immediately. Product came in short order and does what we want it to.

Please not, this is a PRODUCT review, not a SELLER Review... they did everything perfectly. As for the product, the firs tone came and the internal light was broken right out of the box (could have happened in shipping, but I don't know). So I returned and they reshipped, and the second one came. It looked very nice, I put it out, and after a day of sun, the light worked well into the evening hours and I was pretty happy with it. 4 Days later, the light quit working. Long answer short, I was able to ghetto-rig it so that the connection would stay tight and the light would work, but if you are looking for this to always be lit at night, good luck!

We purchased this item for a Christmas gift and the recipient absolutely loved it! I was impressed with the vibrant paint job and it's heavy enough to not worry about it falling over from the wind but not too heavy that it's cumbersome to move. The process of turning on the solar light was very simple -- untwist the top, turn the dial to 'on', and twist back on! We love watching the beacon move like a real lighthouse.

Top was broken and they tried to straighten it. No luck. Revolving beacon, how about four stationary bulbs. Garbage

Simple assembly. Worked correctly from day one. I could not ask for any more.
