et tested perfect. I will use this as a carrier unit in the islands for snorkeling etc. Only caution I would give is when taking your electronics out of the unit point the jaws down as the clasp will hold a little water.

Don't purchase!! I bought this item to go on vacation at the beach. I read the Amazon reviews on several waterproof phone covers. I decided on this one. I used it one day & it broke. I already threw the packaging away since I had such confidence in the product. The top part that locks in the phone came off one side completely & there is no way to reattach. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I Jetski a lot so I tried this but the lock flap is a pain and it gets in the way of the photo shoot and when the sun hits it , it can fog up but still will protect from some what water if not submerge

The product was perfectly waterproof and seemed to be working just fine. Near the end of a tubing trip, the lanyard disconnected from the pouch and my phone sank to the bottom of the river. I never got my phone back. I would not recommend this product to someone else.

For the price, this case was fairly useful. I tested it out with a paper towel for over 24 hours before daring to put my phone in it. Even then, I we scared to use it. When we arrived at Atlantis, the first time I tested it out with the phone inside was when I went down a water slide with it in my hand. I didn't use the lanyard at first because I was worried about the other reviewers saying it broke easily. The phone was nice and dry! I was even able to take video while going down the slides! Under water however, the touch screen is useless. You have to use the volume button to take photos. It's also hard to see the screen under water because of the air pocket that forms after locking the case. I did up using the lanyard and it worked fine for me. I did appreciate that the phone does also float while inside this case, so even if the strap broke it wouldn't have sunk. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase and would recommend you proceed with caution :)

Bought this for my passports on vacation. It worked well, but I never FULLY tested it with water. It only ever saw drops and splashes at worst. Not sure if it is actually water tight.

Worked way better then expected! i tested it and will definitely be using this on my vacation.

Easy to open/close; water tight and touchscreen works well through it. I even get good pictures through it which I didn't expect.
