Okay, but WON'T buy again, and need to find safer lids.
This IS the most aesthetically-beautiful-yet modern spice holder available. And that's why I bought it.Here's what I discovered:1. Make sure each glass container is screwed SECURELY into the silver midpoint. (When you first take it out of the box, some are loose.) To tighten, put 1 hand on each glass-half, and turn. But if you turn TOO tightly, the threads will strip and they'll pop out. I guess there aren't enough threads. It works okay -- but you need to occasionally check them.2. Each spice jar is sealed with a foil cover, which must be removed before first use. It's VERY difficult to take off. You can puncture it with a knife and peel it off, but often the glue on the rim of the glass causes some of the foil to be retained on the rim. A few times, little shreds of the foil fell into the spices! It was a royal pain to scrape all the foil off, and I haven't opened all of them yet because the task made my fingers hurt.3. VERY IMPORTANT! Although it's a glass jar, half the spices are upside-down and therefore they sit directly on the plastic lid. Within 24 hours, the container of cloves had started dissolving the plastic lid. Truly, within 24 hours! I threw the cloves away and cleaned the lid to see what the damage was... inside the lid, the plastic is now very roughed-up and truly melted. If the jar of cloves had sat for a month before I noticed it, the plastic inside would probably have been too melted for the lid's sliding mechanism to work anymore. I checked the turmeric, and the same melting process was happening! But not as fastSo far, I've discarded my cloves, turmeric, and paprika because of the obvious chemical-leaching from the plastic. Now I'm shopping for some stainless still lids that will fit these bottles.I really do like the design, especially because it's so compact. I had purchased 2 of these racks. So, actually I took the containers off the carousels and lined them up on my countertop next to the frig. I was able to fit 16 dual-jars (i.e. 32 spices) onto a 2" x 30" countertop-space. They're very handy to grab, and no ugly wall-rack to mount, and take almost no space! But the plastic content of the lids make this spice set totally unusable unless you only buy herbs (green leafy things), since true spices will eventually dissolve the plastic. If you care about chemical leaching, you'll need to replace the lids before use! I'm serious, the plastic was visibly dissolving in <24 hours. It was horrifying. Please contact me if you know of stainless lids that will fit these. I'd prefer sifter/pour spouts, but will take even a simple screw-on at this point. I really love these dual-jars, but just need a SAFE lid.A couple things I want to add: the plastic lids that come with these ARE handy. Just a slide-of-the-finger and you can either pour or shake. You can't fit a measuring spoon in though. I was willing to forfeit that convenience to get the space-saving and great looks. In fairness to the company, I was aware these lids were plastic when I made the purchase. I just didn't realize that spices would dissolve plastic.I ordered two sets, which came with 16 identical spices: basil, bay leaves, chives, cilantro, cinnamon, curry powder, garlic salt, ginger, marjoram, onion salt, oregano, parsley, red crushed chili, rosemary, sea salt, and thyme. The bay leaves were all broken up upon arrival. (I'd have to buy some cheesecloth if I want to use them in a roast or stew, because it'd be impossible to pick out all the little broken shreds.) The cilantro was mostly stems rather than leaves. The others looked okay. I'm not a spice guru but they've tasted fine, so far.The carousel is 10" tall, and requires 7 3/8" diameter space, to rotate properly. If you take them off the rack and arrange them alphabetically (like me), it's a 30.5" strip, 2" deep, 7" high.In summary, this set is fantastic, but the plastic lids dissolve upon contact with true spices.

Very nice
Has glass jars, it's duel sided, has good variety of spices and looks great on my granite countertop. Love the lazy susan style!

Bonitos especieros,
Me gusto mucho el diseño y lo practio del especiero, por el precio son una muy buena opcion. Mi queja es que llegaron un poco maltratados, al pedir reemplazo me tardaban demasiado en hacerlo asi que lo repare, no era nada grave.
