Whitmor Rattique Storage Tote Grey

I purchased these to slide into my cube storage shelf that has 13" wide cubes. These baskets per description should work. I filled and tried to slide in my cubed bookcase and they are a bit big. I measured and they are 13 1/8" wide not 13 as in description. I am so upset. I purchased 9 of these and am now unable to use.

I use these to store shoes under a bench in my entryway. The color is a peacock blue, very pretty. These are sturdy for shoes. They are a plastic material, so we can put wet boots in and they are just fine. I have four kids and they are tough on things. These have held up all winter. They will fit about 3 pairs of adult shoes, or one pair of kid boots plus two other pairs, or about 5 -10 pairs of kid shoes depending on the size. We also use an extra one of these for toy storage. They are just big enough to hold a few toys, but not so big that the toys get lost in a huge vast box. It makes clean-up at night a breeze.

Perfect fit to fill the gap above our refrigerator. Our new home has very tall cabinets and caused a 12 inch gap above our fridge. Three of these baskets fit perfect and matched our black/white decor. Very sturdy construction and pretty too! Can be used in the pantry and closets. I just love these baskets. I wish they didn’t cost so much.

We have purchased multiple totes from Whitmor and they are the best for storage and organizing. Received this today and called company directly. Wonderful customer service and they are shipping me a new one. Emailed pics of the destruction. Hard to believe the employee who shipped this tote didn’t notice it clearly had been run over by something. Totes are so sturdy that my hubby couldn’t even pull it apart to try and reshape it.*UPDATE* Love Whitmor and will only buy from them direct in the future. They shipped me a new tote and I LOVE IT! I needed a basket that could hold up to a humid climate. It’s for indoor use, but it’s replacing a woven basket that absorbed moisture and broke down. A hard woven material would also have worked, but this is even more rugged. One thing to note is that the dimensions apply to the top of the basket. It tapers down, so the floor is a bit smaller area.

I love the manageable size and sturdiness of these baskets. They work perfect to store seasonal items in my pantry and the color is great.

Our bath was remodeled and we now have a narrow linen closet that's about 18" wide -- but 43" deep (the wider tub is why). Thus I needed storage baskets that can slide easily--these do, they're plastic "rattan"--and are sized well for our space.I ordered 8 of them, and am very glad I did. Though we only need 6 for the linen closet, my husband has already laid claim to the last two to use on the top shelf of a clothes closet, to toss the winter hats and scarves etc. into till we need those again...which actually given we're in the northeast, could be, say tomorrow! (It's almost May and still only 40-something outside).I'd absolutely order these again, and only wish they came with covers...but I've maneuvered a way to manage, that, too by using no-longer-good-enough-for-company towels and those trash-bag "rubber band" type things you use to keep the bag in place inside the trash can itself. Not exactly ideal, but it will keep things covered.I hope marketing reads these reviews--a lid of some kind would be appreciated, what about something made out of silicone, like those baking mats, so they could be rolled up for storage, or placed beneath the baskets when not needed, and for cheaper/easier shipping? Maybe with some sort of clips to affix the cover to the basket handles and/or sides? I know such a system would mean you can't stack them, but you can't stack them without covers, either so no matter. But really, I believe they'd sell lots more of these if you could cover them somehow.

Pretty robin's egg color, pale aquaWould be great in nurseriesThese baskets are rugged, straight-sided, water-resistant and cleanable; better than wicker for these reasons, but almost as pretty. I use them for under bed, leaving nightstand clear of the clutter we "need" at our sides in bed in closets, in bathroom under sinks, and in niches around linen shelves etc. I've had one of them for maybe 5 years heavy use, no visible wear. Recommend!

Make no mistake, this is actually woven plastic, and looks like it. The photos make it look like real rattan, so just be advised that is not the case. The latte colour is essentially beige plastic. That being said, it is quite sturdy, is nice and tall and I am using it to store heavy cleaning products. Handles are solid.

They are well made and a great size. I bought one for my sister's birthday and filled it up with other fun stuff. I use mine to store my different hobbies. Many uses

The baskets were like the ones I already had that I had bought locally, which pleased me.The were more expensive than the originals, but I think that is time talking.Everything matches which pleases me.
