RFID Shieldex Credit Card Holder, Stainless Steel

***Update*** March 2017. I used this product daily for a little over 1yr and 4mo and only just recently did I have to call it quits with this wallet.At times I over stuffed it and used it for more cards than it recommended. About 2-3 extra cards. It didn't always close because of that but it worked great regardless. As soon as I remove the extra cards it securely snaps shut again, same as the day I bought it. With time, the outer casing did get scratched quite a bit and with the over stuffing, some of the plastic card holders split at the sides. However, the scratches I'm sure could be sanded or polished out with some TLC and a fine grit sandpaper. If not for the extra cards, this baby would still be going strong. Great product! -----—------—------—-------—------—------—I really like this little case but I definately wish they could make it to accomodate a bit of cash. It only needs to be a tad larger to fold a bill in half and tuck it inside. I also wish it had a stronger clasp so that I could keep it closed if I fit in a bill or so inside with my 5 cards. It also scratches very easily in my purse, which is odd since it has its own pocket with receipts and spare cards - meaning no keys or other loose objects bouncing around it. Aside from this I really do love the design. It is very sleek and smooth and holds the cards very snugly without being difficult to insert or remove. It is so quick to identify and use and replace while checking out. I have not tested the RFID on it though, so I am just trusting that it's doing it job. If you need something cost efficient to manage your most often used cards, this is a great buy. Keeps me organized and lends some style, which is exactly what I was looking for. I would also like to make a note on the seller's customer service. They make you feel appreciated by sending you a note thanking you and offering themselves to you to resolve any issues you might have with their product. When I bought this card holder, I was skeptical as to whether or not it would actually work. All the other reviews said "nice, but I have no way to tell if it works." Well let me put that concern to rest. I tested it and it works great. You see, we use RFID cards to enter through doors at work.I tested the card holder by placing my access card into it and waving the case in front of the card reader. The reader didn't even know my card was there!I highly recommend this card holder for carrying any card with a chip in it.

Since I just got my credit card with the updated chip and I travel, thought this looked like a great alternative to the cheap little sleeves that all have bad reviews and a waste of money. So I thought 'hey this must surely work to block my cards-all stainless, looks great and sturdy... And now to test it: I put my ID card from my office in this holder and it unlocked the doors right through this card holder...no worky at all- same as if no block being used at all!!!! Then I tried it again only I used an empty Altoids Mint tin container and low n' behold it completely blocked the signal!! Moral of the story is-I believe all these companies are selling garbage that don't work at all and hoping we don't actually test their product. I would be surprised if they even bother to test their own product. Forget about wrapping your card in aluminum foil as I hear that doesn't work either (but didn't test that because it would be so flimsy)... BUT ALTOID's Tin Box does work and it is just the right size for your credit card and some cash will fit in there too. I would not be surprised if Altoid sales go up because of the tin box use (until they also go the cheap route of other companies and start using a paper container).

I purchased two wallets at the same time for my husband and myself to protect us from credit card fraud and identity theft due to the new chip cards. I chose this one for my husband and a different one for myself. This one looks very fancy. It looks expensive, like something you might buy in a jewelry store. I was concerned my husband might not like the feel of a metal box in his pocket after having a leather one with a chain his entire adult life, but he easily made the transition with no complaints. I highly recommend!

Keeps your cards safe and orderly. The sharp corners eventually wore a hole in the pocket of my denims so I now keep in in a cloth pouch. No more pocket holes.

Its a little difficult to open and I have too many cards for it. Am attempting to remedy that issue by leaving some at home. I can't tell it it actually works as I don't have a reader to test it. Must assume that the advertised claims are valid.

This is a perfect product to store the credit cards you don't need in your wallet/purse. Put them in here and hide them away. Nice, well made container. Beats a rubber band around your cards in a shoe box any day! Great product!
