Love the modern look of this fan, nice and quiet. The lighting is just perfect for the bedroom. We used to have bright white LED lights in our room and this is a dimmer look to the light so alot more appropriate for the bedroom. Haven't had success yet in linking it to my phone or Alexa but love the remote. It's amazing!Update: Just found the time to link it to Alexa and it works great. Loving the smart fan!

I purchased four of these fans in December 2020, the Ankee App continually has problems and stops working or completely drops all of your connections to your fans. Then you have to go back in and reconnect all of them over and over again. This has gone on for a year and a half now and they still have not fixed any of the problems. I deleted the app from my iPhone and went back into the App Store to reinstall the app and it is no longer available. So basically I have a very expensive fan that the remote control only works. That’s OK for people who don’t mind doing that but we have a smart home, and everything in our home is voice controlled. I would not recommend this fan at any price it’s just not worth it. I hope Amazon stops doing business with these useless people and company. Also you can only download the app on one device and one device only, if you download it on your iPhone then you cannot download it on your iPad or on any other iPad or iPhone. It will only work on one primary source. But all that doesn’t matter now because you can no longer get the Ankee App again making this useless. If you decide to purchase anything from this company, just remember you have been warned. I wish I could find a way to make a complaint to Amazon and have them stop shelling this junk. It really makes Amazon look like they don’t care what they sell on their site.

The app crashed frequently and the interface with google home is awful, it wont work but instad displays an error message. The light is not dimmable and at 5k Lumens its way too bright for a living room. On the positive side it has a rather elegant and design that looked very nice as the center piece of the room. The fan is also extremely quiet when in operation. Unfortunately, I purchased for it's smart home features which do not function at all so I will be returning. this. item.

Overall it's a nice fan... I put 2 in the master bedroom.. They are quiet and bright which I find very convenient. However for being a smart fan it's fairly dumb. The integration with Alex only turns off the light and turns on the fan. I regret paying $200 for this not so smart fan... Better price point would be $99.. I most likely won't buy another one of these. Also had a issue were I had talked to customer service and they said they needed talk to the engineer, never heard from them again. Give me the next generation at half price and redemption may be possible.

I was excited to find an Alexa Fan. This is not it! Fan was shipped on time and pretty straight forward to install. Other than being surprised to find that both the blades and the "glass" light cover were cheap plastic instead, the real problem is with the Alexa part.What a cumbersome get-up. First of all, the fan is not an Alexa fan, but rather they've added a third-party receiver to their product to awkwardly add Alexa capability. The customer is not in charge of what third party receiver comes with the fan you paid money for, so you're out of luck unless you love ANKEE. The setup took two sets of instructions and in the end, the fan was the only thing that truly worked with Alexa.To my complete disappointment, you need to re-route Alexa through the ANKEE app to get the light to work.You have to ask Alexa to ask ANKEE to turn on a "backlight" of the fan...which didn't work more than half the time. Plus the commands weren't independent of each other. If you have the light and fan on and then ask to have just the fan turn off, both light and fan turn off.Though the product did say "daylight" temperature of the light, wow, what an awful, harsh light. The seller did offer to send a different color light but only after I had to read other reviews to find out that was even possible.In the end, the fan is plastic, doesn't move air real well, and DOES NOT nicely work with Alexa!

I love this fan. I ended up buying it twice! It generates great air flow and the remote works great. It took a little bit to getting it working with Alexa but I am now able to control it through her as well.

We bought 6 of these fans because of their modern look. We had them professionally installed just 4 months ago and each of the fans is making some sort of weird and annoying noise now. The fan in the baby’s room is making such an awful high pitched sound I think it’s waking her up at night. Also, the remote controls are slow to respond once you push the buttons. I’d love to return them and buy something else, but of course, we are just outside that window. What a waste of money. Save yourself the money and headache and don’t purchase!
