The WHAT:Highly recommend this carrier. It did well to save my energy, increased my mobility, and freed both of my hands to hold hands rails, open doors, push buttons, use phone, eat, etc. The carrier redistributed the weight and length so that I carried my skis + poles behind me like a rifle on a sling with the strap across my chest. I am 5'3" at 110 lbs (160cm at 50kg) with skis that are 5' (151cm). As a woman, the strap placement was comfortable to wear cross-chest sling-style while in transport.HOW?The carrier redistributes the weight and length so that I carry my skis + poles behind me like a rifle on a sling across my chest. Without the carrier, holding my skis + poles in front like a soldier marching with a rifle was awkward because I am short with less strong upper body strength that fatigues after holding my skis + poles over long distances.This carrier system is easy to use, and allowed me surprisingly increased mobility in walking around the acre long parking lot and around the hotel. You do not have to worrying about accidentally hitting passersby. If you are a smaller human like me, you will find that this carrier makes like easier when carrying your own gear by three different placements: PLACEMENT-1. Gear is behind you, vertically-oriented, with the strap across your chest (this is how I hold mine in a sling bag style with the strap running between my breasts as a woman); PLACEMENT-2. Gear is behind you, vertically-oriented, with the strap over your shoulder (similar to how one would carry a rifle with an over-the-shoulder sling); PLACEMENT-3. Gear is along beside you, horizontally-oriented, with the strap over your shoulder (as shown in the product description). I prefer not to wear the carrier this way because the weight is on one shoulder, and you risk whacking people in the nuts (or small children in the face) if you suddenly turn around.PRO TIP:Secure poles in the straps so that their baskets are opposite. For example, if you have the handle for ski pole-1 under the velcro straps on the left side, then reverse direction of ski pole-2 so that the basket of ski pole-2 is under the velcro straps on the left side.NOTE: As a woman, I comfortably wore this carrier with skis + poles using PLACEMENT-1 (described above).As a woman, this does not hurt my chest -- remember, this carrier is not meant to be a "day at the spa". It is a functional tool that helps to alleviate burden of carrying our gear temporarily. This does not perform like a purse or tote (i.e., don't expect to walk around town for hours wearing this carrier with your skis + poles attached). This carrier allowed me to keep both of my hands free to hold on to stair railings, push buttons, open doors, etc. while I walked across long parking lots, through hotel lobbies, and up/down stairwells.

I was at Park City skiing. I used this to hike to blocks too and from ski lifts. It made ski and pole transport so easy and comfortable! I was surprised that no one else had these. I received many looks of interest from onlookers.Product works great but the ski pole straps need improvement. Each has a snap surrounded by Velcro but the snap loses its “snap” within a couple days. They need better, higher quality snaps or just go to 100% Velcro.

I can not live without it!!Great quality, easy to use, nice des sign, durable.I no longer struggle carrying ski gears. When not in use the straps easy fit in my jacket’s pocket or in my backpack. Simply love it! A must have!!

This setup is awesome. Not only does it protect my skis but also makes carrying them easy! I have recommended them to my fellow skiers!

This strap was very useful!! I am able to use the straps to tight the bindings to protect them in my ski bag as well. It was easy to use the strap to carry the skis around too! Just one thing is that the shoulder pad doesn’t stay in place easily especially I have very very narrow shoulders so it slides out a bit easier on m. Though I don’t think this would be a problem for people who have normal to wide shoulders.

I bought two of these before going to ski in Vail Colorado. Unfortunately, it does not come apart or attach like in the video… Try to envision very very cold weather with wind and having to take your gloves off to attach skis that have snow on it the first thing the brakes is the rubber that holds the skis together. Once that snaps off it’s harder to work as The straps are attached to the skis because there’s just no way to separate the Velcro. The next problem is there are these fabric Snap on that hold the polls to the straps over your shoulder. The problem with this is that the threads start to fray, leaving a long trail of orange string that could go on for 20 or 30 feet. This is up in the mountains, so one does not usually have scissors to cut the fray and the more you mess with it the larger ball of orange string accumulates around your skis, ski boots and others. The time it takes to actually attach. Everything can be up to 3 to 4 minutes because of these issues, whereas others in your party have already left with their skis on their shoulders.And this is all on the first time using it… I would not recommend the straps. It’s just not worth the time, the effort or the storage. It wasn’t much of an investment and it was worth the effort, but I wouldn’t do it again.

Loved them in the beginning but the fellowing year the snaps broke and the padding tore off. I sent the company a message on Facebook because there was no other way to contact them and I’ve heard nothing. It says they are refundable, but you can’t reach the company. Very disappointed and I would not buy from this company again.Updated... The company reached out to me. They were very cooperative and backed up their commitment to customer satisfaction by fixing the issues. They upgraded their snap pin materials which enhanced the overall quality. They replaced both of my straps and I'm very happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend these straps to easily transport your skis/poles from the car to the mountain.

This is a great product! We were looking for something to easily transport the skis and poles together and were going to buy a bulky ski bag. Then we come across this and decided to give it a try. It is definitely worth it coz it is not only a lower cost alternative, but it works amazingly and so easily to hold both sets of items in one carrier. Highly recommended!

Straps are thick and sturdy and arrived in excellent condition. Detailed instructions on how to put the straps on skis are included with the product. Will test it out for my trip this week and update.

Cercavo una soluzione per gli sci e bacchette da bambino e ho trovato questo prodotto, anziché custodie giganti e piu' ingombranti. Comodissimo da portare a spalla e facilissimo montare il tutto. Consiglio alla grande!
