"Free" Returns - BUYER BEWARE that "Free Returns" is true only if you are lucky enough to have easy access to a UPS Store Drop-off facility. This item (Yogipace, Belt Loops, Women's XL Tall Straight Leg Four-Pocket Yoga Dress Pants) is one that says there is "Free Shipping" for returns (November 2022). That is only true if you are willing to drive to an official UPS Store Drop-off facility. You can NOT use a UPS Drop-off Point unless you pay a $5.99 charge. Be aware if you have not yet had this problem with UPS returns, that they've discontinued offering every free option for using a UPS Drop-off Point. There is no option to print a label like there was for an item I returned through a UPS Drop-off Point earlier this year, so do not count on that as a method of returning this item for free. I hope that Amazon can post accurate information about having to travel to specific return facilities when they post "free returns" statements next to items. Until then, we are all unable to know what it will cost to return items until the time comes for us to begin the returns process. I am now apprehensive about placing orders with Amazon and will probably do less on-line shopping because I feel like I was given misleading information about what it would cost me to return this item if it did not fit.As for the yoga pants themselves:Fit: "Tall" size is very, very long, which is why I need to exchange them for a shorter size. I usually need to order "tall" slacks if I want to wear them with heels/boots (although that was not my plan for these. I think I chose "Tall" by mistake when using the drop-down menu). The "Tall" slacks are much too long for me. If I return them (see my complaint above about so-called "free" returns), I will replace them with a "Petite" size because these are so very long. The waist/hips sizing is accurate and fit as expected (I bought an XL). They feel quite comfortable and stretch well and would be very comfortable for exercise or yoga class. They are quite snug to the torso and leg, so if you plan to wear these outside of the gym, you will want to make sure that your top is long enough to cover the troublesome areas that yoga pants are infamous for. I think that you could order a larger size than you usually wear to make them looser, but beware that returns as of Nov 2022 are not really free for those of us who do not live near a UPS Store Drop-off Facility.Fabric, garment construction, and care: The fabric feels soft and smooth and it has enough weight to it so that the slacks have structure. It seems to be woven well and will resist snags and pilling that often occurs with stretch fabrics. I would recommend washing them inside-out (as the care instructions advise) just to protect them from snags in the washing machine. I line-dry most of my clothing that are made of stretch fabric and I would recommend that for these yoga pants even though "Tumble Dry" is advised on the care instructions tag. The "Brown" color is a nice chocolate brown color, with no hint of rust or orange in it. It likely will run when you wash them the first few times, so plan to wash them with like colors for a while. They seem to be sewn well with the seams and waistband attached securely. All seams and edges are surged to prevent fraying, which is why I really don't want to cut them off and hem them myself instead of return them for a shorter length. I bought the style with four pockets, and all four are large enough to fit my hand into, although none is large enough to completely hold a typical 3" x 8" (8 x 20 cm) phone. The finishing work is likewise done quite nicely. There aren't any loose threads or areas where the seams look like they will fail. The tags on the inside are silky and so won't be a source of irritation. There is a decorative single button at the faux fly front that is small and rounded and so will not dig into your abdomen when bending over or sitting.Overall, these Yogipace women's trousers are quite nice. I did not want to reduce the 5-star rating for the clothing since that is likely why you are reading the reviews here. The (Nov 2022) problem with "free returns" being true for only a narrow set of circumstances may be solved by the time you are reading this, so I wanted to provide you with information and a rating about the garment instead of reflecting my unhappiness with the "free returns" in the star-rating.

I bought these hoping they would look a littler dressier than they do. That being said, they are far nicer than regular yoga pants. I wouldn’t wear them for work but they are nice for a casual day out. They have a nice fit, without being too tight in the waist, are comfortable, and they launder nicely.

They are soft and stretchy! Can be dressed up or down and have pockets. They have from short to tall sizes. I am 5', 140lbs. They are perfect length (I usually have to hem). I ordered 3 more to wear to work everyday!

As a 6’ tall woman finding pants that are long enough is always a struggle. This is why I loved the skinny pants era because pants could be shorter! These hit every mark for me, they look professional, but are SUPER comfy. The functional pockets are fabulous and can securely hold my iPhone. The material is soft and very stretchy, but does not look cheap. These are a new staple for my wardrobe.

I was torn between 2 and 4 stars here. Pros: they are long enough for tall ladies like me and my daughter. Even the regular length is long enough for us at 5'10" (tall length was too long!). Fit is nice. They are super comfortable like leggings, but they could (in some situations, on some bodies) pass for slacks for work. I ordered them for my daughter, who is a teacher. Cons: they do fit a little snug on the hips. If you are "voluptuous" in back, they might be a bit too tight to pass for work slacks. But the reason I returned them for myself is that they are magnets for pet hair. We have cats and a dog, and you absolutely can't have these pants in a house with pets and expect them to look nice. I'm sure the same would apply if you wore a fuzzy sweater with them. So 4 stars for comfort, fit, and appearance, but 2 stars for fabric attracting fur/lint. Average: 3 stars.

5'2, 155lbs, I got a size large and was worried when I took them out of the bag because they looked small. They pulled on easily, stretched to fit my shape, have four WORKING pockets, and my thighs don't look like mashed potatoes shoved into a sack. These pants were professional enough to wear to work, neutral enough wear to dinner, and then comfortable enough to lounge at home. I am getting more in different colors.

I am pleasantly surprised by the look, feel, and overall quality of these pants. They are dressy enough for work, school, dates, and comfortable enough to wear during any exercise and workout routines. I tried them on right when they arrived and live the way they make me feel in them🙌🏻 I will be ordering a lot more since I found my favorite new pair of black pants. I’m 5’8” and ordered an XL and the length is perfect 👍

I got these to wear to the office when my regular pants stopped fitting my growing belly. Sooooo comfy yet they look like actual dress pants! I’ll 100% be ordering again and wearing these post pregnancy. Love that these come in longer inseams, the 35” length fits my 5’11” frame perfectly.

I bought these for work and they are comfortable to wear and wash well. Fabric feels so light on and I love that they have different lengths as I am 5’ 2” and usually have to take the pants up. They feel like leggings on but are smart to wear for work with the straight leg and much more flattering then leggings.

So happy the measurements are actually accurate! These pants are so long and fit so nicely. very comfortable and flattering!!
