Bought this to use as a natural food dye. Love it. Arrived well packaged and fresh. It is a fun way to color pasta and I'm sure other food. I have also used it as a tea, and enjoyed it with honey and lemon ( note color change)

The powder spells like fish food almost, not sure if that is how it’s suppose to smell or not. The jar is a little smaller than I expected. But that’s not a big deal. It does turn purplish blue, mixes well. Have not tasted it yet.

I made a drink with milk, flax seeds and chia seeds. It was delicious.

Very uncertain this is authentic as the actual flower. Definitely taste different than expected! Probably better used as a food additive!

I add this to smoothies for the health benefits, the lovely color is an added bonus.

I needed this for frosting a cake and almost died when I saw a grey-ish powder in the bag (you can see it on the upper side of the mix in the bowl), BUT I mixed a bit with whipping cream and it turned a beautiful blue colour. Next I added a drop of vinegar (as I didn't have lemons) and it turned a nice mauve. I assume with move powder or acid the blue (or mauve colour) would change more. Very smooth and didn't change the taste of the cream. Not sure how much i would need for a whole cake, but the colour is even nicer than in the pics. Quantity is small, bag is the size of my palm

Great for lattes with almond milk and a little sweetener. Makes a beautiful deep blue colour.

I bought it to add to my smoothies for its history of health benefits. It mixes in well and really doesn’t have a flavour but it’s colour is very potent and will turn almost everything it’s added to a purple/blue hue.
