4, Brown RLB-100 Mini Louver (4 Pack)

I used one of these for the front of my shed. I have gable vents but wanted a lower one so cooler air would be sucked up from the bottom and help cycle air during the hot, humid summers. Personally, I wouldn't rely on these as the primary venting in a shed unless its real small and you use all of them. They're small and the slits are narrower than the vents actually made for shed venting, but they're great for supplemental venting in my opinion. Pros: good value. super easy to install- it was a perfectly snug fit with a 4 inch hole saw cut, didn't even need to use caulk. attractive low-profile.Cons: two came bent on the tube part. They were pretty easy to bend back, though and it shouldn't impact their performance at all. Pretty sure that happened in transit. Seems like the paint might not last too long. For the price, I'll happily spray paint them if I need to, though.So, all in all, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

Still sealed in bag, wet droplets on these things and paint not adhering. Were they painted wet? For price I would expect higher quality control.

I used these vents in a Container I purchased for storage. The container is 40' long and 9.5' high and great but the temps inside on a sunny day were exhausting. There just was no air movement in the back. I used the 3" vents becuse that is what worked with the type if side by container had. I hole sawed about 5 holes on each side at the bottom, some 12" up from the bottom edge, and another 4-5 holes up top about 8" down from the top. The difference was night and day, the temps dropped about 40 degrees, and the air movement made it [possible to stay in side. The vents work great, they snapped right in, but I used a little silicone to make sure they were water and bug tight. The louvers keep the rain out, and the fine SS mess screen keeps the bug out, and win win.

The vents are well made and nicely fit in holes cut with a 4 inch Makita hole saw. Some of the vents even while still packaged in the plastic bag, arrived a bit shop worn. Specifically a bit of the brown was scraped off a couple of the louvers and a few louvers were bent. That is probably a shipping and handling issue. Thee brown color is glossy and therefore stands out a bit on a non glossy brown soffit. If it bothers me enough, I can always repaint them. The biggest concern is for a 4 inch vent, the effective free air area is disappointingly low.

Outstanding product that puts the comparator vents at Lowe's and HD to shame. These vents are very well constructed and the wire mesh insect screen is heavy duty metal, not the plastic mesh junk you see in the big box stores. I installed these on my in-laws house and they've had problems with yellow jackets in the past. Because I was the one urging them to install soffit vents to complement the ridge vent already installed, I did not want to worry about introducing insects into their attic. This product exceeded my expectations. Godzilla couldn't get through the screens, much less a mere yellow jacket. Very rare to find such a well made product these days!

I had a new furnace installed and the county inspector required ventilation between that room and the adjoining room. The brown, 4 inch vents were exactly what I needed. I used a 4 inch hole saw and cut the hole in the hollow core interior door. I held the vents in place with a general purpose adhesive. The whole project took less that 20 minutes. I couldn't be happier.

it a 4 inch vent nicely made with bug screen in side , put 4 of the in my sheds eve 2 front and 2 rear . 12x20 shed dropped heat build up about 20 degrees . would buy again.

These are easy to install if you have a 4 inch hole saw which I did. They are better than the description I think. The description says they have 3.5 square in. of ventilation but they really have about 12.5 square in. If you do the math like I did π*r*r=12.5. So...good product, bad math.
