Much needed shovel
Last winter I didn’t have a shovel and it was one of the biggest mistakes I had done. I had to tow my car once in my own parking lot because I couldn’t get the snow out of tires so this time, I decided to buy one before snow gets crazy. This shovel is perfect. I can keep it in my by making it smaller but when I’ll use it I can make it taller too! All I need is to change the function of the handle. The instructions were clear and it was very easy to assemble. I feel like I’m a bit prepared for winter this year and thanks goes to this shovel!!

Good for small projects, but a little flimsy.
I liked how compact the shovel was, however it was very flimsy and I wasn't able to use it for heavy snow. Would be good for smaller amounts of snow or light, fluffy snow but not for anything heavy.

Junk
I’ve bought hundreds of things off amazon and I had to take the time to say this has to be in the top 3 worst purchases I’ve made. I mean, for the price I guess you have to kind of expect it. However, this is the smallest, jankiest, junk shovel I thunk could have ever been created. Came last night (along with 5 other items, I buy a lot) and I used it first thing this morning on the inch and a half of light snow we got overnight. I made it about half way through before the thing broke. Yep, done already. It’s in my garbage. Unfortunately it has to sit around a week since it was garbage day yesterday.

Deck shovel
I bought this shovel to have something compact for clearing my front steps. The width is just right for shoveling stairs. It would be a good shovel to keep in your trunk in the winter for emergencies because you can collapse the handle. I like that the edge of the shovel is metal, it is great for scraping and chipping at ice. That should make it more durable over time as well. The extendable handle is easy to adjust to the right height for my husband or I, even the kids if they want to lend a hand! I just got to use it for the first time today as we had our first snow. It is so much nicer to use on my steps than my large driveway shovel. I’m glad that I bought it. The handle is comfortable to hold. I like that the coloring is not conspicuous, so I can keep it on my front deck through the winter without it being an eyesore.

Would not recommend
The handle of this shovel is 36" long, plus the length of the actual shovel piece makes it 46", making the shovel shorter than most standard shovels. The picture on the product shows someone not bending over in comparison to other shovels which is complete BS. I find that I end up bending over farther with this shovel and my lower back starts aching way faster compared to a standard show shovel. The handle is held onto the metal shaft by a single screw which at first glance seems to go on tight. When you flex the handle left or right, which is bound to happen while shoveling snow, the screw immediately becomes loose by two to three full threads. In no time the handle is falling off the shaft. Short of gorilla gluing the handle to the shaft you'll need to carry a screw driver with you in your pocket just to use this for its intended purpose. This was more expensive than heavy duty shovels found at my local Wal-Mart, about half as wide, and the handle comes off constantly. The only thing that I could see using this for is to throw in the trunk of a vehicle as just in case situation but even then I'd say just go grab a metal mil-surplus shovel that folds and won't come apart instead.Save your money and buy something else.

Strong and sturdy snow shovel.
What i love the most is the sturdiness. It is hard plastic and very strong. It can definitely handle the job well. The assembly was not as smooth as i thought it could be. It was a little stiff to extends the handle out. Tighten it up is fine. That part needs a little improvement. Another thing i have noticed was the aluminium edge that can penetrate ice a little smoother and scraping them. This works on both fluffy snow and iced snow. It is compact so it fits in my car wonderfully.

Handle doesn't stay attached.
I like the telescoping pole, making it short and easier to store. But there is a screw used to attached the handle. The screw fell out, and the hole was stripped after about 20mins of use. Basically making this item worthless.
