Absorbing cross stitch
I have not yet completed this piece, but am finding it very absorbing to do. Although I am a very new cross stitcher, I don't find the piece at all problematic. I mention this because I noticed a couple of more negative reviews and felt it only fair to give a balanced view. From my own point of view, I prefer working from a counted pattern as there is a fascination in watching the picture grow that I feel would be missing from a pre-stamped kit and it is very satisfying to see each section of the picture emerging bit by bit from the white canvas. If you like this picture, don't be put off by these comments, have a go! If I can do it, anyone can.

Confused by blue grid?!
I'm really confused. The cross stich fabric had the design printed on it which will presumably get stitched over however there is a blue grid all over it which will obviously look pretty ugly!! I feel that this is unusable unless I'm missing something?!UPDATE!!!! So I was about to return this when I read the online instructions that say the printed colours are water soluble!! So I've started stitching and have got everything crossed (no pun intended!) that once I've finished it and it's been washed that the ugly grid will vanish! I will post a further update when I'm done (it may take a while so don't hold your breath!! 😁)

Remember to Split the Threads!
This is a kit I would recommend to someone starting out. But remember to Split the threads! Some have said there is not enough thread. Take note of the Cardboard Thread Sorter. It holds the threads. It also tells you how many threads to use. All the cut threads come in 6 Strands. For the Fox you need only 3 strands. So Spit the threads when you take each bunch from the thread sorter. Simply hold up each bunch of threads and put a needle in centre so you have three threads each side of the needle then simply pull the needle through until you have Split the threads into two lots. Thread the needle with three strands of thread. This is my first Printed Cross Stitch. Getting older now I found the Unprinted kits a bit difficult to follow.I am happy with my kit for the money paid and look forward to having it framed to put on the wall...The Kit could have had instructions in English for beginners; so decided to take 1 star off.

Easy to follow, but.....
I have tried cross stitch once before, counted cross stitch. Epic fail. Looking for things to fill my time during lockdown, I thought I'd try again. I decided to try a printed kit.It was very easy to follow. Looks nice now its complete. HOWEVER, I ran out of one colour of yarn, but I was able to fill in with spare at the end. The thread was poor quality I think. It was 'bitty'. Finished sections look fluffy, which is a shame, as it has effected the finished look a little. The needle that is supplied almost drove me to drink! Trying to thread 3 strands of thread through the small eye was almost impossible!! You have to thread them singlely. Not an easy task even then. Its pretty now its framed. I would buy better quality thread if I try another again.Would recommend however.UPDATE....I wasn't short on one colour of thread, I've just found it in the cat's bed!! LOL

Great hobby and easy to undertake
This took me 3 months to complete just working a little bit each day. Easy to follow and heaps of thread provided. The pattern is very pretty. Had lots of thread left over after completion.

Fab little pattern
Fab little cross stitch pattern. I was worried that the printed colours wouldn't fully come off the fabric but they did really easily. Really enjoyed making this.

Counted cross stitch.
I love this design. I have not started the kit yet - I have other projects to finish but I can barely wait to get going. Obviously I cannot comment on the finished item but I checked the contents and cottons and everything that should have been included appeared to be there and of good quality. These kits sometimes take months for me to finish so I may update this review at a later stage as to how easy/difficult it was etc., but so far I am happy with the contents and the relatively inexpensive price.

A Good Kit ruined! THIS IS A SCAM - THIS IS NOT A DMC KIT NOR DMC THREADS!!
OK - piece by pieceAida - ample sized, 14 count, white, very thick or heavily starched but you can work that stiffness out with time.Threads - lots of them but cut VERY long, so even experienced stitchers are going to be constantly either un-twisting or untangling knots. UPDATE - I have suspicions that the threads supplied are NOT DMC, they seem of poor quality and separate continually. The matter has been referred to DMC. UPDATE - DMC HAVE CONFIRMED THIS KIT IS NOT DMC!!Kneedles - OK, two in number.Chart - here's the MAJOR issue. It's printed in both colour and symbols, on high gloss paper, and is completely useless for marking progress on. I scanned it and printed it out on normal paper but it's still difficult to use and follow, as this piece is a mixture of numerous dark shades as well as light and the symbols are sometimes difficult to see..They've tried to be clever and make it look like an "up-market, good-value" kit, without understanding how cross-stitch and cross-stitchers work. It's a nice image - but it's hard work!! Despite the con-job of being supplied by Amazon "EU" - THIS IS A CHINESE PRODUCT.
