I’m quite pleased with this little set. This is the first time I’ve ever done my nails myself. I’m totally a nail salon girl but with this COVID the nail salon is just not an option. The instructions are not that clear but I know the process so it was pretty easy for me to do. I did use the nails and everything I personally like shorter nails so I trimmed and filed them down. I did see a review that the nail cutter wasn’t that great but when I flipped it around I got a clean cut. So if you have an issue just turn the clippers around and it does great. I do have a UV light to cure so if you do not have one get one before purchasing this kit it is NEEDED. When applying the acrylic you have to move fast because it dries fast and will clump a little bit, if that happens dip your brush back in the solution don’t drench just a little and it will flatten the acrylic. I used my gel polish from my other kit and the nail color does not come with the kit. If you do not know the process of doing nails it could be difficult because the lack of instruction so be aware of that. Overall a great product and I highly recommend it, it did a great job in my opinion. It paid for itself in the first use so this is actually money saved and I will be doing my own nails for now on.

I love that it came with so many different options , different colors , and different styles to do. It comes with step by step instructions if you’re unsure on how to use it. I highly recommend this product if you want to stop wasting your money on getting your nails done at a salon when you can just do it at home.

I got two sets - one for myself and one as a gift for my teenage sister. She was super excited to try it, the brushes were a little small but otherwise a pretty good set to start off with! My kit arrived with an empty top coat bottle, hopefully I can get that replaced. Otherwise the kit arrived in tact, just a light coating of acrylic dust on the jars but nothing severe. The boxes smelled like a nail salon, which was a smell I have missed throughout this pandemic and kinda enjoyed :) oh and you will need to purchase things like a nail drill and a uv lamp separately for acrylic nails.

Packaged nicely . Came with everything it says as far as I could see . I’ll update once I try it out .Update : I actually did my own freakin nails ! I mean I should be able too as much as I spend time in the nail salon . But I really did it , of course it’s not the best but I mean hey this is quarantined DIY style . This kit is really beginner friendly , only thing is the instructions aren’t that clear for some people who might know absolutely nothing . And the brushes are a bit small but it worked out for my birthday 🤷🏾‍♀️

I received this nail kit as a gift from my wife. I’ve been wanting to become a nail tech for some time and this was her way of giving me a kick start! My personal experience has gone like this: Delivery was later than expected (given the current events) but so far everything from Amazon has come early. Moving forward, overall the contents were packaged very well. The only damage was to the packaging of my tweezers. No spills or powder anywhere. I received a no. 6 and 8 brush. Useable for 3D art, I’d suppose but definitely not to apply a full bead of acrylic. To practice, I found a paint brush in the closet and went to work. First, the glue does not adhere the tip to the practice finger. I tucked it in the bed of the nail to practice. The acrylic is very sticky. I found that the clear and pink (light pink) are the most sticky whereas the white sets pretty well. I was thinking it could be because of the brush I used so I ordered a no. 10 and an actual practice hand. Once my brush arrived, I tried it out on my wife’s pinky and same results. While practicing, we didn’t notice the glue fell over. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE GLUE. THROW IT AWAY! There was smoke coming from where it was burning through the chair it was on. So glad it didn’t burn her pinky/nail. Overall, the kit is ok but because the contents are small in size, you’ll have to make additional purchases as well.

MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN LEARNING TO DO NAILS AND HAIR AND MAKEUP AND SPOKE VERY HIGHLY OF AMAZONS NAIL KITS HOWEVER I WAS VERY HESITANT ABOUT BUYING A HUGE NAIL ACRYLIC KIT FROM AMAZON THREW MAIL AND MY NIGHTMARE CAME TRUE. AT FIRST ORDER RECEIVE DATE WAS A HOLE MONTH AWAY MAY 25,2020 that WAS FIRST DISAPPOINTMENT (2 was EMAIL SAYING ITS ON ITS WAY SO DAY AFTER DAY MY DAUGHTER WAITING BY THE FRONT DOOR DOE HER DELIVERY DUREN THIS VIRUS EPIDEMIC AND KIDS BORED LOCKDOWN IN HOUSE FOR SIX WEEKS NOW. THE PACKAGE FINALLY WAS DELIVERED WITH ALL EXCITEMENT MY DAUGHTER COULDNT WAIT TO GO THREW THIS BUNDLE OF FUN FOR HER SO SHE COULD DO MOMMYS NAILS AND IT BROKE MY HEART TO SEE HER IN TEARS EUNNING OUT TO ME CRYING SAYING MOMMY TWO OF THREE POWDER ACRYLIC ARE COMPLETELY EMPTY. THERE WAS NO PINK OR WHITE POWDER IN THEIR CONTAINERS. I HAVENT EVER SEEN SUCH DISAPPOINTMENT ON MY DAUGHTERS FACE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME NOW I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH OUR ORDERS FROM AMAZON. I WOULS HOPE CUSTOMER SERVICE SENDS OUT TWO REPLACEMENTS AND MORE PRODUCTS OR EVEN REDUND MONEY AS AN INCONVENIENCE SUREN THIS HOLE ORDER PROCESS. MY SON WORKS FOR AMAZON AND HE SAID THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. ITS SAD TO HEAR.

This item has been great for a beginner like me. You need to get an LED light which I found one for dirt cheap in one of my local shops, but I had loads of fun with my girls trying this out. The powder is crazy thick and sticks very well. Not to mention it drys FAST. I probably won't use powder again, only because 90% ends up being filed down. The acrylic nails are a little on the thin side but it was a fun investment. No regrets.
