Photo is misleading. I thought I was buying 3/8 inch cord to make my own piping. Instead, this is 1/8 inch cord inside white polyester/cotton fabric piping. I do not understand why seller calls it piping cord. It is piping. That said, the piping is quite small and delicate, and has become a favorite of mine for embellishing neck and sleeve edges. I have now ordered it in every color.

Does not come on a spool. It comes in a ziplock bag, it is stiff, but that will make it easier to sew in.I'm using it to insert wire in the channel with the cording and sew into the top of masks for my dr and local hospital.

I gave this product only 2 stars based on the fact that it is smaller than what I had expected. This piping cord would work great for anyone who wants something smaller than the size of a shoe lace. For the purpose I intended, I would truly do better if I bought some shoe laces and used them. Perhaps I am not a good judge of how large 1/8 of an inch cord should be. I had previously ordered 1/4 inch piping cord, and that was too large, so I thought 1/8" would be about right, thinking it would be half the size of the 1/4". For anyone who may wonder about this, the filler cord I received is smaller than standard shoe laces. The product seems to be of good quality, just too small for what I had in mind.

If you need a large quantity of cording, this is the way to go. It is an excellent quality product at a good price. I used this to cord around a queen size duvet cover, without a single join.
