A really nice pair of gloves. I regularly use one on my right hand when I slice veggies with my mandoline. (While the left is different from the right, I found it easily fits onto my right hand, so I can be washing one while I use the other.) I particularly like the feeling on my hand. I can grip well and I do not feel clumsy. Removing the rest of the meat from a turkey and deboning meats before cooking will be much safer.Update: 11 August 2016: I purchased a second pair. I wrapped them up and gave them to a dear friend with a husband who is a police officer, a caring dad who baby sits while mom teaches night school, and the cook. Our talented cook was a bit in a hurry and proceeded to “mandoline” off a good chuck of the tip of his middle finger on his dominant hand, and this caused some serious problems for a while for him at work. (Hard to qualify with firearms with your middle finger bandaged up.)So, I gave this wonderful person a pair of your gloves with a note saying that I had done the same thing, I now always use these gloves, and I’ve not cut myself since. I hope he tries them, because that is all it takes.

I purchased these for my son to use with our mandoline slider. They work great. I'm surprised how soft they are.
