Pleasently surprised....
I certainly had doubts about ordering a universal remote control for a Westinghouse split ac unit, but after waiting for quite a long time for its delivery (the item was shipped from TONGA and to be very honest, I had not idea where this place was), as soon as it arrived, I put the batteries on and worked perfectly. It handled all the functions of the original remote. For that matter, the face plates of both remotes were exactly the same, which leads me to believe that they are and or were manufactured by the same company, which is not Westinghouse. This item was the perfect solution to the problem.
