but every few days when set that low it would pretty much slow to next to nothing until I cranked ...
Dirt cheap and decent flow for something so small. For my purposes I actually had it turned way down to get the flow I wanted, but every few days when set that low it would pretty much slow to next to nothing until I cranked the dial up and then back down again. Now I've got it cranked up higher, trading more flow than I want for hopefully not having to mess with it so much. Hopefully it will just continually push out the flow it is set at now. All in all I don't have much faith in it lasting very long. I'm not bothered, it's a cheap little pump, but when it goes I won't be buying the same one again.------------Update: Was contacted by VicTsing customer support who were very nice and offered to send a new pump. The replacement arrived quickly and has been working flawlessly for the last couple of weeks. It adjusts a lot more smoothly than the first, and once set the flow rate stays where I want it. Nice to see a company make so much effort to get a working product to their customers.

ULTRA Quiet!
JUST got it and replaced a brand new pump in my Marineland 5 gal Portrait Tank kit. The one that came with it is so loud and rattley. This new one was only $10, and I can’t even hear it at all! So far a home run! Hopefully it lasts for a while.

Great little submersible pump.
I think these little pumps are meant for fish tanks but I’m using it for a fountain and it works great. The GPM flow is perfect to avoid the splash I experienced with larger pumps. The splash was causing a need to refill the fountain almost daily but now I never need to refill.

Perfect for my terrarium waterfall
I bought a reptile supplies lot and in that lot was a waterfall. I was pretty stoked until I found out the motor was burnt out. I spent $7.00 on this bad boy and my problems were solved. It comes with two different sized attachments for the type of tubing your using. Of course, one was too big and the other too small for my tubing. I used a zip tie and that seemed to do the trick. It'll still slide off if I want it to but it holds it in place nicely. It also has a knob to adjust the flow rate as well.

Superb alternative to Beckett for your outdoor fountain
The original pump in my Beckett fountain lasted about two years. The replacement that I ordered lasted about one year. After this experience, my new plan was to buy "anything but Beckett." Found this Vic Tsing here on Amazon. It was half the price of the Beckett and more importantly, it wasn't a Beckett. Came with two adapters, but I just plugged my 1/2" fountain hose right into the pump body. The smaller size allows for more mounting options. Plenty of power for my medium-size outdoor fountain. I have the flow turned all the way down. At this price, I'm tempted to order two more for my personal inventory.I like the thinner power cord- it's easier to snake back through the fountain and it allows me to add an in-line power switch, if I choose, but I'm not sure if that would be up to code in the wet, outdoor environment?

Broke less than 2 hours!
I should have known this product wouldn't last. When I first opened the box, the flow adjustment knob was clearly not installed correctly. It was sticking out, crooked and not working properly (kept spinning). It was a quick fix, I just pryed it out and popped it back in the correct position. No way did it happen during shipping. No big deal honestly, but the first sign of bad quality control.I used it to water plants. It never ran dry once. I used it maybe 14 times. Less than 2 hours of use total and it no longer turns on. It was too cheap to bother with the time returning. Thankfully I had another brand's pump on hand, which saved the day.Pros: runs the perfect pressure to not drown potted plants.Cons: quality control is severely lacking. Maybe it was just the one I got but I wouldn't take a chance with anything from this brand again.
