I gave the bag a 3 because it's not a horrible bag but for the price range it's in there are much better bags out there. There is a ton of cargo space, even without expanding it, there are several bags out there that are huge, for much less. There's nothing really about the bag that makes you feel like the price is justified. The clips that attach the shoulder straps to the lower portion of the bag are a joke. I had some reserve about them before I purchased the bag but was holding out hope I was wrong...I wasn't. They have come unclipped and dropped the bag on me more than once and they just seem cheap. There are no internal pockets in the main compartment, which is pretty much standard on all 3 day packs. There is no pocket for a laptop other than the main compartment. It's got a couple more hiccups but those are the main ones.

Great product that passed all my expectations. Durable, comfortable and plenty of room
