Brighter BloomsMonstera Deliciosa, Swiss Cheese Plant, 3 Gal. - No Shipping to AZ

This is the first time I've bought a plant online (I have over 70 plants and if I break my "in person only" rule I would have one of everything available and I'd have to sell all my furniture to make room). I couldn't find a monstera in person that was 1) way too big, part of the joy of plants for me is having them grow with me so I can reflect and say "it was only a foot tall when I bought it 30 years ago" or 2) way too expensive.Even at $50 this is the most I've paid for a plant, but I think it will be worth it. I have read a lot online about being duped into buying an expensive monstera only to find out it never grows its signature leaves and you were sold a plain philodendron instead.This plant is about 16" tall, in a decently sized pot, but I can tell its roots are begging for more room so it will be getting repotted. All the leaves are healthy except one that has a pretty unfortunate placed tear, but it's not noticeable if you are not inspecting your new plant. The stems are healthy and unbroken. It arrived soaking wet but it only took two days to ship so I'm sure they were trying to prevent the plant from drying out and arriving crispy and dead.The packaging was decent, it probably could have used some more "padding" around it but it arrived just fine either way.I'm pleased with my order and I'm already on their website looking for more, and breaking my "In person only" rule again... oh well!

I've never ordered a plant online before, (everything else, including fish, yes...houseplant, no) and was a little nervous. When it arrived, the box was a little crushed, and I got even more nervous. But after opening the box, unwrapping, and sitting the plant upright, I was so excited! This thing is HUGE and beautiful! It is so large that I had to stake it so it would stay upright. I underestimated the size, and two bags of indoor potting soil isn't enough to repot it. While it's acclimating to the new environment, I ordered more soil. If it doesn't do well after repotting, I will update my review, but as of now I am ecstatic! This Monstera is a monster! Very healthy with only one yellowing leaf. Part of me wishes it wasn't fully grown, I like to buy my plants as babies, but this is just so gorgeous that I don't mind. It arrived super fast as well, about 4 days earlier than expected.

Came packaged well and looked very good until we took it out of the pot and it had a lot of rot on the roots.

I love this plant! Came in at a timely manner, and was packaged very well. I watered it as soon as I opened it, but it was already healthy and full of life to begin with. A few of the leaves broke off, but I don’t really think that’s a problem considering it will grow back with time.I have had it for about 2 weeks now, and will be repotting it within the next 2 weeks. I also mist it daily, (sometimes 2x) since my house is more dry than humid. If you’re thinking about purchasing a Swiss cheese plant then definitely get this one, because it is amazing quality!!

This is the second time I have ordered this plant from this company and both times the plant looks big and beautiful and after a few weeks begins to die.The first plant started to turn yellow, the new leaves that were sprouting turned brown at the tips and died.The second plant started having those brown/black on the leaves and they started to spread.No more plants for me from this company.

I decided to purchase this plant online because the local plant store was asking an astronomical price. I have ordered smaller plants online and luckily were delivered successfully. Decided to give a larger one a try. After reading reviews here and on Brighter Blooms website, I sensed it wouldn’t be a problem. It arrived faster than expected and it was packed very well for its journey. I unpacked it immediately, it was nice and lush. I gave it a good drink with plant food, placed it in its planter and let it settle for the night.The next day I inspected it. It had only a couple of leaves that were a bit damaged but, nothing was dying or needed trimming. In fact, it had a few new blooms. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and it has already produced 3 new leaves.Based, on this purchase, I would highly recommended this vendor for live plants at a reasonable price.

Pretty satisfied with this plant purchase. The plant is big and gorgeous. Minor transportation damage, but is now recovered and seems to be thriving. Would recommend this seller highly.

This plant arrived a couple of days ago and we are letting it adapt to our environment before re-potting it. It was in great condition, amazing packaging that gave it protection for the cross-country trip. I anticipate that it will lose some leaves over the next week or two, but it seems to be hardy and in great shape!
