So, I bought this because I had various jewelry in different parts of my bedroom in boxes, but I haven't seen most of my jewelry in years and I simply didn't know what I had. Not to mention, my door mirror is cracked 9_9;.First bit... A lot of reviews mentioned that there was a certain odor to the item, that it was very potent. I considered having it outside for a while like some suggested but we didn't. I just set it up in my room and I didn't smell anything at first. It wasn't until I opened it did I smell it. Even then it wasn't bad to be a problem. It's simply the smell of varnish. Coming home the next day did it permeate further into the house. Still wasn't bad for me to gag or anything. My SO mentioned that it's more prominent when the door was open... BUT what I did was get a cheap pack of small cedar blocks and a baking soda ball that you'd typically put in your shoe, placed them on the shelves and the smell was gone by the next time I opened it.The lock is cute and cheap. Be mindful in making sure the key is flush in before turning. I accidentally jammed it at one point, and it took me a while to fully unlock it, from turning at a weird angle. Other than that, it's pretty darling.Be mindful of how you organize. There isn't a ton of depth. I found that I could not place hard, non-pliable bangles on the bracelet bar. Also, there aren't a ton of things you could put on the shelves. It's very narrow, but it's a great alternative for orange bottle medicines to medicine cabinets if you worry about people scamming you for your expensive meds because they offer to mow your lawn then want to use your bathroom. It happened to my grandmother.All in all, and my SO said it before I did... If you are female, period, regardless of your level of using cosmetics and jewelry, this is a must have.

This jewelry box/mirror is well worth the money spent, actually the price is good for the quality. It’s a great accent mirror in my room, and holds all my precious jewelry, easily and safer so I don’t have to worry about anything being ruined or lost! All of my daughters are getting one for Christmas from me, buy it! Your won’t regret it.

Very happy with this jewelry organizer. First one came damaged, I contacted the company and they were very easy to work with and sent me a replacement. This is so easy to assemble and makes a very nice touch in the bedroom as well as the great capacity to organize lots of jewelry. The color is very pretty and blends well with my cherry furniture. Very happy customer!

It's a simple, yet beautiful piece that provides excellent storage and it is surprisingly not too bulky; however, I was a bit bummed out to find that it wobbles with little pressure (i.e. opening/closing the door), plus a few other downsides.I thought it was wobbling because I had it on the carpet, but I tried moving it to the wood floor and it still wobbled. Another downside is the key is a bit tricky to use. The key is cute, but the mechanism is just not that easy to handle. Furthermore, it has a strong chemical smell from factory, and will linger around for a few days or maybe a week if you don't let it air out. Last bit is that the black cushion material (like where the rings go) is not the best of quality, but it works.As per assembly, I was able to get the stand part together myself quite easily, but since the cabinet piece with the mirror is HEAVY, I called upon my super strong and super cute partner to lift it while I screwed in the remaining pieces. All tools needed to assemble were provided.The quality of the mirror is great, and does not distort at all! :)Overall, its an okay buy. I would recommend spending a bit extra on another piece that is better quality and doesn't have any of the aforementioned downsides.Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.yvi

Got this for my mom for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. There’s lots of room and the organization is great. The mirror on the front is useful as well.

My expectations were not very high when I purchased this for my wife. The pictures looked good and the price was right. But once it arrived and I got it put together, I was impressed. It was easy to put together. We had it together in about 10 minutes. This cabinet is a really nice addition to our décor. It is well made and looks nice. I gave it all 5 stars because it deserves it.
