Sun Visor Doesn't Attach Straight to Pack during Storage
The first two pictures are my pack. The second two pictures are my husband's pack; he has the Deuter Kid Comfort Pro and I just have the Deuter Kid Comfort. The only thing I don't like about mine, that his pack has, is that his sun visor hat zips right into the top of the pack and mine is detachable and you have to bend and shape it the right way for it to fit into a velcrowed department underneath one of the storage units. I would prefer that unit also be for storage of my own personal belongings rather than for the sun visor. Also, last time I stored my sun visor, it got bent the wrong direction on one of the sides and I had to rebend it back into shape when I went to go use it the next time; it didn't reshape perfectly, but it worked well enough to use. I would prefer a zipper hold the sun visor in too vs velcro because over time the velcro will probably get dirty and not hold the visor in as well, if at all.Reason I got my pack vs my husband's is: mine was 1lb lighter and since I'm a girl - I obviously needed a cuter color too ;)Clips on backpack are also cheap (in my opinion), but they're the same type of clips on my husband's pack too. Just a cheap, light, plastic flimsy material. My husband thinks they're nice, but I guess time will only tell how durable they really are...

Pretty comfy for toddler and dad
We like it, but don't love it yet. So this is the first carrier that I have ever had, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I have a 1 1/2 year old toddler. She is long and lean for her age. She gets that from her mother, not me. I am tall and fat lol. Anyway, so looking for options to get outdoors more during COVID we bought this for some hikes. We have used it a handful of times and our toddler seems to enjoy it now. We have only used it on neighborhood walks so far. I want to make sure the passenger is comfortable with the pack before we do a legit hike. Don't think a screaming toddler 3 miles away from the car, in the middle of the woods falls under the "having a good time" category. Only problem I have with this bag is getting a perfect fit, although that has more to do with the passenger than the pack. First couple times we used the pack our little one started crying, because her legs were falling asleep. She hasn't mastered language well enough yet to convey what doesn't feel right when she is in there, so it is a little trial and error. We are getting better and better at it, and she averages about 35 mins at a time before she starts whining. She can go about 45 - 60 mins before the point of no return. About as long as I could hope for I think. But like I said, I don't have anything else to compare it to. I think with more practice and tinkering, we should be ready for some legit hikes

Best one available!
Most comfortable for parent and child. We went to REI and tried all available on for comfort. This was by far the most comfortable for dad and child.

Best baby carrier!
We live in the PNW and with the pandemic in full swing, we decided that hiking our area was a great way to get out of the house. We had a standard baby carrier that we used when going shopping and the like, but for hiking, it wasn't nearly robust enough and would likely wear us out on longer hikes. So we researched and out the highly recommended Deuter Kid Comfort, but we gawked at the price! How in the world could this be so expensive!? Once it showed up, we could see why. I went for long back packing trips as a teenage boy scout, and this backpack was nicer, more comfortable, and better designed than anything I ever used as a teen. The best part is how airflow pocket between your back and the child carrier. Absolutely amazing given our previous baby carrier had the baby nestled right up against you.Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a phenomenal carrier.

Great Ride!
This is an excellent carrier. Even 7 months pregnant, I was able to comfortably carry my 25lb toddler for a few hours. The placement of the handles makes it convenient to get it on and off. The stand is great for setting little ones down. Overall, highly recommended. I appreciate the ability to add a bladder, we also got a 3L Deuter bladder to go with it. The storage is generous in my opinion. I could fit lunch and a couple diapers/wipes in the backpack part. Chapstick, a small amount of first aid items, phone, cash, could fit in the pouches on the waist belt. If your going for longer than a few hours, then someone else might be necessary to carry more gear. I usually only go out for about 5 hours max so this can fit what I’d need in there. Worth the price. If I could change one thing, I wish there was a spot to add a toddler water bottle on the side.

well designed
I've had the pack out on several half-day hikes with a 30 lbs, 18-month toddler and am very happy with it. The features are well-designed for comfort and relative ease of use. The kid is comfortable in there (doesn't complain anyway) and has no problems falling sound asleep while I do all the work. I added water bottle holders to the waist strap for access and can carry enough food, etc for a day hike.

Frame supports body well.
Great carrier, easy to get the kiddo in and of, wears light. The sun flap has to be forced into the pocket but that's a minor gripe. My wife is 5'4 120 and she has comfortably taken it on several hikes up at higher elevation. There's not much space to carry too many extras, but there is a spot for a hydration bladder. If you plan on using this for longer hikes, make sure someone else is carrying all the gear. Overall, a great carrier.
