Great cleaner for my distiller
I bought a really great distiller through Amazon about 10 years ago when I was fighting the chronic disease syndrome in my body from bad sausage I bought from my local grocer which lead to cancer over time. The distiller was one of many approaches I combined to help raise my pH of my body to clear me of the cancer all naturally. There is lots more that goes into using the natural alternatives to clear disease from the body, but getting chlorine and other contaminants out of the water is a good first step.http://www.amazon.com/Water-Distiller-Countertop-Enamel-Collection/dp/B00026F9F8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394793316&sr=8-1&keywords=water+distillerYou need the residue cleaner to clean the stainless steal of the container. These crystals are mostly citric acid crystals to help strip off the mineral accumulation off the stainless steal. Don't think an orange or orange juice will do the trick. This stuff is concentrated citric acid and you really only need a teaspoon to clean the chamber if you let it heat for 15 minutes with the crystals. You really don't have to use the two teaspoons they recommend. Just let the one teaspoon work for 15 to 20 minutes after you heat up the water in the distiller before adding the crystals. This is really great stuff and I only clean my distiller once a week which I use all thet time. The water really tastes great when you do our own distilling too.

Amazing residue cleaner
I'm so impressed about this cleaner. I have a stainless steel boiling pot with accumulated residue on the bottom. I have tried to use baking soda and some vinegar to clean it up couple times. But, still not able to get all of them out, and the residue has brought some odd flavor into my water. When i saw this on Amazon and read the reviews, I'm excited to get it and hope it can solve my problem. I noticed the package was delivered just right before the bed time, and I immediately opened it and followed the instruction to put hot water and some cleaner in the pot, and let it stay overnight. The next morning, when i looked at the pot, All the residue were gone...completely gone.....amazing~~ I don't even need a brush to clean it.

Cheap & Efficient
This works great for cleaning my water distiller! It works best if you have time to allow it to soak overnight/8 hours. However, if you do not have that much time, you can always use 2 TBSP and boil it OUTSIDE(you do not want to breathe that stuff-concentrate fluoride). I use only 1 to 2 TBSP per cleaning, it works great, despite them recommending 3 TBSP(a little goes a long way). Also, make sure to wipe it out afterwards. Our family will continue to use this. Thanks.

Expensive but works. Other options out there!
This product works, but there are other methods that are much cheaper, and other products that are leas expensive. It does work well, but I have moved on to other products that work better and are leas expensive.

It works great overnight-
I am a dedicated distilled water user not just to drink but in a soft ice machine, iron, etc. About every 6-8 cycles, there is much residue in the distiller. I just fill past the highest residue with tap water, add the powder, wait overnight, empty and rinse to be sure all chemical is gone.

Works great
Cleaning stainless pots and water distiller. It works really well at removing stains and hard water buildup. This also does not leave a residue or smell like CLR. You can put this in hot water in a stainless pot or teapot, leave it overnight and it will be shining like new in the morning. Cleans water distiller in one pass. Really good.

Supplied by "CheapCitric.com". Couldn't be more true. A good buy.
Good price. Works effectively to clean a small countertop water distiller that I use to get water for my CPAP humidifier. It's just citric acid and all you do is put a couple of tablespoons into the water and let it sit overnight. No heating or anything. One pound will last me quite a while. The last Citric Acid I purchased was much more expensive for about 1/3 of the amount.
