I wanted some panels for encaustic art that I would feel free to play with and not worry about cost. These certainly fit that bill. The wood is of poor quality and poorly selected. One strip even has bark on it. I cannot imagine that these will not warp under heat or over time. There are small knots in some of the top surfaces and a very large knot surrounded by cavity on one stretcher. There are splits and holes in other stretchers. Maybe these will not impact over time but I certainly would not commit art I had spent hours on and wanted to endure to these. There are also stickers on the face of one which will be difficult to remove without compromising that surface if you wanted it to receive paint. They are ok for experimenting with but I shall not be buying any more.

Not ideal for pyrography

These are the perfect size and quality to make the most stunning, ornamental mosaic mirrors. Enjoyed a craft day with a friend, we made indoor and garden mirrors. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. I certainly will be purchasing again.

Good support to prepare with two to three layers of gesso and then sand paper it. Useful for professional artists.

Nice but NOT 20cm X 20cm! About 5mm short. Probably not a big deal for most uses but I was needing them to be the right size.

Bought as an alternative painting canvas as I don’t like having to tighten normal ones, I like how sturdy they are, great for what I needed them for

I couldn't get hold of any canvas for the kids' art project and I wasn't sure these would work but they were great. Very happy and would definitely buy again.

Used for artwork. Needed several layers of primer. Surface a bit rough but not a problem for my purposes....Very good value for money
