I like that the cover is removable for washing (with a hidden zipper). The cover is nice and soft, kind of like a heavyweight t-shirt fabric. It does slip a bit on the fake-leather surface of my home office chair.The cushion is nice and wide and deep (front to back) so doesn't feel like you're balancing on a tiny pillow.The cushion seems sturdy and seems like a dense memory foam material. As such it does compress quite a bit, so this cushion is best use for moderate coccyx pain and with good posture. It's not going to prevent all pressure on your coccyx if you need that. After using it for a week, I recommend also taking breaks from sitting if you have an active issue with your coccyx - this cushion won solve all the issues but can help.

I bought this and also the round matching seat cushion for my husband so he could choose which one he liked best. I was going to send this back as he preferred the round one. I tried it on my desk chair & I loved it. So I kept this cushion for myself. It is nice & firm. Makes sitting my desk much more comfortable.

I lost 60lbs due to illness so it hurts my tailbone when I sit. I tried this pillow but sadly it made the rest of my but hurt, its not soft (memory foam) like I thought it would be..just painfully uncomfortable for me anyway.
