VR-robot 30-Pin Bluetooth Transmitter for iPod Mini iPod iPod Nano Touch Video, Bluetooth Adaptor (Only for Device Before 2007) (Black)

I can not get this to work with my ipod video and my Bose QCII heaphones, i had high hopes but just never paired. I did follow the direction about putting my headset into pair mode first and then inserting the adapter but no success

This was extremely cheap and did not work.

Such a small device with big sound and range

If you're like me and wanting to control your iPod from your Bluetooth headset (volume, play, pause, skip, etc) this is NOT it. I've tested it with 2 headsets - Anker and Avantree (that have BT 4.1 and BT 5.0 respectively). Avantree headset paired but received no audio signal at all. The Anker headset did receive audio output but it had very noticeable buzzing sound similar to a poorly terminated ground connection. Neither headset could actually control the iPod- the button presses didn't do anything, which was the whole purpose of buying this adapter. For $20-30 you can buy a modern BT 5.0 AUX transmitter/receiver with no sound issues (VR Robot runs ancient BT 2.1!)I've contacted the seller/manufacturer and while they were responsive overall, tho with difficult to understand English (possibly using Google translator).Seller admitted that the background noise is a known issue and that the adapter doesn't work with all devices (whatever that means)I'm really not sure why they're even selling it, as it is useless by and large

I followed the supplied instructions and just couldn't make it pair with my bluetooth earphones, I can't see it on the bluetooth list on my laptop either. I didn't have much expectations but never thought I won't be useless.
