Works perfectly! Actually I was surprised at how good it is considering it's so cheap. There are so many brands and so many options and honestly it's hard to pick one that's affordable and high quality - but Lention is a great choice.First of all it's a lot thinner than it looks, and so feels like an original accessory to my 12-inch MacBook. So it's quite aesthetically pleasing, as well as being compact and light-weight.It has two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port as well as a charging USB-C port. The great thing about these ports though, are the fact that they can work simultaneously together without hassle or disruption. Charging occurs just as usual, and best thing of all is the fact that there is NO overheating. Even though I was using all ports at the same time for 2 hours, only very minimal heat was produced. Also the USB ports are great as I plugged in two Hard Drives (1TB WD and 1TB Buffalo Ministation) as well as a 32GB Sandisk USB drive all at the same time, and all of them functioned really well without any connection issues or power problems.One slight thing I will mention though is that the ports are quite tight to plug into. And it takes a little bit of force to remove the connectors once you're done using. I'm not sure if it's because it's so new, and maybe with time it will become easier. But really this is a non-issue because it doesn't affect anything performance-wise.I've included some photos that show its thickness compared to a 12-inch MacBook and one that shows how the ports look.

I've had this dongle for a while now. I have never needed to use it much as I don't use my laptop too often.I had this connected to my laptop today with the power cable and a wireless mouse and keyboard, and within half an hour it was producing an intense burning smell and was far too hot to touch. I had to remove it using a glove, at which point I now found out that the receiver for my mouse and keyboard is completely broken.I consider myself lucky that my laptop has sustained no damage itself. I would not recommend this product and will be formally complaining as not only has it now cost me money to replace and to replace the mouse and keyboard, it is a fire hazard.

The device itself should be unnecessary one to purchase but because of apple and their new and improving technology and me still using various outlets I needed to connect my USB to my MacBook Air2019 so as it follows I needed this extension just so I could connect my USB.I like the idea that you can adjust the colour of the extension to match your laptop so mine was rose gold , the shade is lighter than MacBook but that's not important.In the instructions it states which extension space is for which specific cable , which is really helpful.There is no damage to the Type-C Hub and it works perfectly well for the above described purposes, I also charged iPhone through the extension the charging time did not increase by much.Overall the products is well made extremely well packaged, because the box which the item is placed in has a velvet attachment with grooves to fit the extension which makes the box a perfect keep place for the extension.

Device itself seemed to function fine, but the showstopper is that when plugged into a 2018 MacBookPro running Mojave it caused a "stutter" for all screen & mouse operations every 3-5 seconds. This is just unacceptable. It may not impact other platforms, but made it totally unusable for the MacBookPro. I replaced this device with an Anker device and confirmed, before writing this review, that the Anker device didn't have a similar issue.So, sadly, a single star from me as a MacBookPro user.

It works, its small and light and does what it needs to. I wasn't aware that you had to hard press these into the usb-c slot to make a click sound, I came from a 2008 MacBook, thus I nearly returned it. After figuring that out, it is fast and provides extra support to older USB A-type accessories.[Edit]After some extended use this adapter is satisfactory however adding more than 1 external HDD substantially increases the heat, it really does get hot, thus I think over time it will be worn out especially the circuitry.

I got a new car. All my music is on a USB 2.0 storage disc. My new car has USB type C.Therefore, I wanted a USB type C adaptor and wanted one with next day delivery. After searching this particular one came up, with next delivery and offering a little bit extra facility. I could also select from 3 colours. My car is silver, as is my storage disc, so silver is the colour I chose.It's now in my car, all connected, working perfectly well.

This adaptor is shocking. At the slightest (and I mean slightest) provocation it detaches just a tiny bit from the charging port - I have a 12" Macbook 2017 - and because it looks like it's still in place, at the end of the morning you can find half your battery's been used.There are a good few of these on the market; do yourself a favour a don't buy this one!

The item arrived faulty and didn't work at all. When the seller read my 1 star review they quicly got in touch to resolve the problem. They sent a replacement within the day. Item arrived today and works well. Their customer service team are great. I have no hesitation using this company company again because if something goes wrong they work quickly to resolve the problem and provide the product you ordered. Very happy!
