Like others, on receipt, I was delighted with the bench cover and in fact bought a second one. But after 2 years there have been tears in the fabric, which has become much more brittle and dried-out. In fairness to Kingsbridge, I don't think there is any fabric in existence that could have done better against the British weather! But the description of the fabric as "rip-proof" is not true long-term. The material has not changed. It was described as "Waterproof-600D Heavy Duty Fabric-Double Stitching-UV Protection-Breathable" at the time I bought it. The Bench was placed next to the house out of the wind and has been outside for 2 years 24/7. The cover itself is very well made. I am now considering whether to buy another of these before winter, or go for a cheaper version.

Edit: Unfortunately after just 13 months the cover has ripped due to UV degradation. It was good while it lasted and protected the bench well, just trying to decide whether to buy another.This is a fantastic cover made from very sturdy, thick material with buckles at each corner and a drawstring to cinch it down. It looks and feels to be very well made and of very good quality. I have no doubt that this will last and protect my wooden slatted bench (which belonged to my wife's grandparents and is now an heirloom) for many years to come.

I bought this as a cover for my mobility scooter and I live in a very windy area. It has some features I hadn't noticed when I was looking for a suitable cover.First, there were nylon straps and buckles to secure it in place.Second, there's a draw cord that pulls it snug against what it is meant to be covering andThird, it has two well covered air vents. I took photos of these things so you can see for yourself.The actual fabric is really thick, heavy duty and well made and the cover comes in a nice zipped storage bag.I'm sure it will last for a very long time. I've just bought a second one for my husband's scooter. It is quite heavy so scooter users that have upper body pain problems probably wouldn't be able to use it. But remember, it is designed as a bench cover, not a scooter cover. Scooter covers tend to be flimsy and very overpriced and two seater bench covers usually work as excellent substitutes.

New garden bench seat so winter cover needed. Have used a green woven plasticky stuff cover for another bench which tore after one winter. This one is exceptionally strong canvas-like material and well put together. The securing fasteners for around the legs are proper straps with quick release connectors and are sewn in, not punched eyes and bits of string. Very impressed with quality and a decent price, well worth it for confident protection of the seat. Only very minor criticism is that there is no cover size in this range to fit a four foot seat which is a common length, this is just a few inches longer but better that way than too short.

These covers are great , we have bought several others in the past and found them a waste of money.A friend recommended Knightsbridge to us and we have found them to be excellent.This is the third one we’ve purchased to cover rattan garden benches.

The cover was bought as weather protection for two rattan chairs as they are stored away from the table four chairs and umbrella which we have in the garden and have a good cover which came with the set.So pleased with this purchase. The fabric is totally waterproof windproof etc and blends in nicely. In view of the gusty thunderstorms and high winds And heavy rain of late the cover, although sited behind a fence , hardly moved at all.A good purchase and recommended as a good strong cover for whatever need
