Shoe glue stick leather and rubber

I used this product for re-sticking the soles of flexible rubber soled shoes back in place. With so many modern shoes the sole is stuck on in a rather weak way with not enough surface area of adhesive (or bonding). Klebfest seems very successful and lasts well. Use the maximum surface area available, resulting from the detachment of the sole. As the instructions say, coat both surfaces, let the glue almost dry and then firmly press the two surfaces together either clamping them or applying weights. Leave well alone until the following day. Although the smell and method of use seem to be the same as Evo-stick, this glue seems stronger.

These brilliant Scarpa 26 year old boots gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago. Then we found this great rubber to leather bonding glue. After thoroughly cleaning and drying the boots I stuck the sole back and they are now back in service! Used everyday for the last two weeks in muddy and snowy conditions and no sign of separation of sole. Not for every sticking use but great for this type of repair.

super runny (like water almost) so really difficult to work with.. tried on a pair of trainers and had not really done the job.. dont think ill bother trying on my walking boots as its so runny and awkward to apply in the right areas.

I have used this stuff to repair shoes - leather upper to rubber sole and a leather belt that had come apart. Both have worked well providing very good flexible adhesion which have lasted several months so far. Very sticky!

Did seem to stick at first but was over holes in the soles of wellies and came off quickly when worn
