Racing Stripes (Widescreen Edition)

I allowed my 4th graders to watch this movie as a treat and they thoroughly enjoyed it!They even collectively cheered for Stripes at the end. We had discussion about doing the "right" things and how helping others can help you! There are a lot of character building discussion learning points throughout the movie. It's entertaining learning! A couple of bad words, but nothing really major!

Love this film so much! It’s funny, adventuring, inspiring, and dramatic. Plus what always surprises me about this film, was that it shows Horses acting and being “races” at Stripes the Zebra, because he’s different. It’s like seeing my race “Blacks” going through the same issues Stripes went through

I bought the digital version on this movie while vacationing with my 10 year old daughter. It was her first time seeing it. She loved it. And even as an (almost) 40 year old, it's one of my favorite movies. Great family fun!

Super cute movie for my grandchildren. Made for a great Christmas gift and enjoyed the quality movie time with the grands.

I really enjoy showing this movie to my grand-kids. Very funny on many levels. My only gripe, as with many amazon titles, is why should I be paying to view these older films? I AM a member!

Forgot the crude, dumb humor that is attached with this film. Thought more family friendly yet, some animals and their personalities are maybe supposed to be funnier but just lame. Not too happy about renting it for my boys. Early late 80's-early 90's setting and then the actors who are voices aren't my favorites either. Better off with a Disney movie.

and the silly jokes went over some of my grandkids heads. The younger ones (5 to 8) got bored with it half way through,so we played Go Fish and left it on. Then it picked up and they were okay with watching it again. They didn't question the animals talking at all. I asked if they thought their Aunt and Uncles steers talked in the pasture and barn and they thought so. That God would want them to understand each other too. I agreed. Cute movie. Great price.

I love the all the animals talking to each other, it is very clever computer! My favourite one is big white bird, make me laugh so loud!! Love this movie so much!!

This is wonderful family viewing for both young and old (and even those in-between!) It is both a touching and yet very funny tale of a Zebra who wants to be a race horse. (Why not!) With Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) as the voice of 'Stripes' and an all star cast backing him this film cannot fail to please. You'll laugh until it hurts at the antics of the Flies, Buzz and Scuzz, and a Crane named 'Goose' who's on the run from the 'Mob'. I'd most certainly reccomend it for 'after Sunday Lunch' viewing when the whole family are together. It gets better every time you watch it!

My 8 years old daughter is obsessed with this film. I personally can't see the attraction but she loves it
