Sturdy, Great Quality, Some notes before purchasing....
FACTS: I have small hands, not tiny but small, (I can easily grip a 1911 but not a Glock 20), and I am a beginner (in strength training). My dad always had these in the car, in his garage, next to his TV table, he was always squeezing these things! He had the old 1970's style ones, which were all plastic and fitted to your hands. It helped him with his motor-cross endurance races. His were a bit larger, where I would consider these to be a bit smaller. I bought these to strengthen my gun grip and to help me with handling guns and gunsmithing. I also have tennis elbow and wanted to see if I could strengthen those muscles a little.Measurements:Top to each bottom grip, almost 5"Bottom grip to bottom grip width 3 1/2"Grip diameter 3 1/8"Grip width - each individual .875" eachSpace between bottom of grips 1 3/4"Space between top of grips .875"Spring diameter 4"These are a bit strong for a beginner but you can start out by doing small squeezes and then working up to full squeezes. If you have small hands like me, expect the nice foam grippers to slip a bit. This threw me off until I realized that I could just slip them off and squeeze just the plastic, or I could super glue the foam grips on so that they stay in place (or maybe even use some grip tape). All in all, these grippers are heavy duty, and of a very nice quality, they look and feel like they will last a lifetime!Disclamer: I was not paid to do this review, I was inspired by the product and wanted to share info with any other buyers. I did purchase this from Amazon Prime ☺

Excellent part of a routine exercise routine and may have more surprising benefits than just grip strength
An important part of a routine exercise program. These are excellent "next step up" hand grip strengtheners. Well made and comfortable. I had started with the regular strength ones and then found these were getting too easy ( I tested my grip strength on a Camry Hand Dynanometer (also from Amazon) and found that it had just got to 44 (?lbs, not kgs yet) which is at edge of strong) - so I wanted to get something more challenging. I had never used hand grip strengtheners previously but I then became aware (I am a medical epidemiologist) of some analyses of the very large Health and Retirement study showing grip strength was more predictive than many other health measures, and papers such as this : Am J Prev Med. 2015 Jul 22. "Grip Strength as a Marker of Hypertension and Diabetes in Healthy Weight Adults" . Mainous AG , Tanner , Anton . Withe conclusion " Among healthy weight adults, combined grip strength is lower in individuals with diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes and hypertension"Now association does not show causation but ....there is some very interesting work from Germany in which two randomized intervention trials they showed that some sort of low level muscular strain seemed important to allow the body to release products that were glucose clearing (interestingly this beneficial effect is somewhat blocked by Vitamin C which should be concerning to the vitamin industry ), glucose clearing may be part of reducing glycosated products (which are considered contributory to quite a lot of public health problems) . So I think routine use of these grips will give you a stronger hand grip, and who knows may have other more general benefits (will stop now before I get beaten up by the FDA Medical Devices section for making health claims !).

Too firm to rehab my injured thumbs
These are okay grips, probably better made than most, but I bought them to rehab thumb injuries on each hand and they are much too firm for that purpose. I plan to keep them, but I'll have to go back to squeezing a rubber ball for now and hope these become more useful after my thumb injuries heal.

So far so good. Good workout, I like the foam grips, but will they hold up?
The Supreme Squeeze handgrips arrived yesterday. Here are my first impressions, I will follow up if I feel it might be helpful for others. I have average sized hands for a man & my hand strength is about average too, although I have been trying to strengthen my grip & forearms by squeezing various things like tennis balls & other hand grippers. I broke the handgrippers my nephew gave me after about a month of heavy use, so I'm a little worried about durability. My first impression was that these are a little smaller than I expected, but when I tried them they seemed to fit in my hand well. I'm a little concerned that the range of motion might be greater if they were larger. The ones my nephew gave me were in fact larger, with a good range of motion. I bought these based on the foam cushions on the grips. I don't really want callouses. My first impressions of the foam cushions are that they move a little after a few minutes & have to be repositioned after each use. That seems acceptable. But as I said, what I'm really concerned about is durability. How long will they hold up?The resistance seems good for the average man...my hands or forearms got a solid workout after just a few minutes.Quality seems good, although I think the box says "made in China." Finally, they come with a note saying I can "activate my warranty and access bonus training material" which I just did on their website.I'm giving them 4 stars based on first impressions.I will update if anything interesting develops.

Worked great for more than 7 years
I used this product 2 - 3 times a week for over 7 years and it finally broke. Although I would have loved for it to last forever, I can't expect too much for the price. I personally got a lot of value out of this and would recommend it for people trying to gain more strength in their wrist, forearms, etc. Like others said, be careful in case it does eventually break on you. - Tony P.

Easily breakable product
The item was delivered exactly as described but the handle on one of the grips snapped off after two days. Very disappointed with the cheapness of the product. The plastic the handles are made of is not strong enough and the grip strength of your hands will make one the handles snap which renders it useless.
