I felt that I was being over protective buying this for my son's helmet until he took a pitch right to the face shield! I am so happy I got this for him. The price is amazing considering how much it probably saved me in medical bills. At least 3 parents on the sideline mentioned they were going to get one for their kids as well after the incident. A lot of the others had already had them installed. Installation was super easy and took me no more than 5 minutes. There is literally no reason not to go ahead and get this for your ball player in my mind. Safety is worth every penny.

I bought this for my 11 year old because he was afraid to hit after his friend was hit in the mouth with a baseball from a wild pitcher. This guard fit perfect on his helmet and made him feel at ease at the plate.
