Teaching little ones that they have the ability to give and what they do counts is so important and this book kept my 3 year old captivated while teaching her that important life lesson. I loved the illustrations and the tradition that can go with it. Our Christmas mouse shows up after Christmas day and hangs out until the tree comes down after Three Kings Day sharing his message of the joy of giving. Next year Christmas Mouse may be arriving early.

Our family has found a new tradition in getting this book. We have four kids ages 2-9 and they all love this book! It tells about a mouse and even though he is small the things he does are important. It doesn’t matter the size of a person or good deed because all people matter. We also ordered the woolen mouse in the hammock to go along with the book. At the back of the book it explains how women in Nepal make the woolen mouse and proceeds from that mouse go back to them. We definitely recommend this book and the corresponding mouse.

This sweet mouse is real you see. He scurried around to tackle the little tasks that need to be done. He tucks in the baby Jesus, for he is little too. Cookies to taste and not chocolate to cool for Santa. Remember, the little things we.can do are important too.

Good Book. My daughter if older, like in her 50's and has a huge selection of mouse books from when she was little.She also was a teacher and added many books through the years. I keep adding new ones when I see them.

I am absolutely rapt to find this very special book for my nieces. Mouse is full of good deeds, kindness and love! I believe my nieces will subtly learn from this story while having fun following Mouse and the 'little things' he does. It's also a wonderful length for bedtime stories - not too long and not too short. Thank you Bethany, I hope you write more tales of Mouse for our children to learn from and have fun with :)

I like the book. The 15month boy not yet interested but, the 4 year old girl yes. I imagine the book and mouse ornament was packed away for next year Christmas. I was hoping to read the book to the grandchildren all year.

My 5 year old son is obsessed with the mouse ornament and the story! He makes up stories every morning about what the mouse did that night and he thinks the mouse ate his apple slices the other day, lol! He thinks he left them too close to the tree and mouse thought they were for him. I didn't tell him his sister did it ;-)

The Mouse in the Hammock is a lovely story about a mouse who sleeps in the Christmas tree but comes out when no ones looking to spread Christmas joy by making sure all of the little jobs that make Christmas special are achieved.This is a lovely way to show children everything that goes into Christmas and how even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Each of the things mouse does are things that children enjoy or get benefit from which is nice to show them how each of the little things are appreciated and children could consider what would happen if they weren't done by mouse.Mouse is a lovely character that always puts others before himself which is a lovely attitude for children to see and recognise how that makes others feel. Having Father Christmas thanking him is a lovely way to show why mouse is so special.The illustrations in the book are gorgeous and they really show the spirit and magic of Christmas. The poem and reasons behind the story at the end of the book are great to get a better understanding of why the story is so important. This is a beautiful Christmas story with a message that you're never too small or have too small a job to make a difference.

Really enjoyed reading this with my little ones. It's such a sweet tale and it made us feel very festive as well as looking forward to Christmas already!I loved the added extras at the end- the poem and the details behind the story!I LOVE the illustrations too, so bright and colourful and really brought the magic of Christmas to life. Such a sweet book.

Wonderful bright and eye catching illustrations accompany this wonderful tale of a busy little mouse helping make sure everything is ready for Christmas. The message is clear that little things matter as well as the big things. Fell in love with the mouse and love him blowing Santa's coco for him as it is hot. A great Christmas Eve read for little ones.

Cute little book about a cute little Christmas mouse. Lovely pictures and a lovely message. Particularly liked the night before Christmas poem.
