Small, compact and easy to use
I like the size! It's easy to use and maneuver for smaller projects. Very versatile, good quality, performance and value for the money.

cuts soft metal, not steel
I bought this product because it advertised that it cuts steel, or at least implies it. However when I got it the 'steel' cutting attachment says " for soft metal". I was very disappointed. However I gave it four starts because when I needed to cut several layers of chicken wire it zipped right through it without slowing down.

Super EASY and SO MUCH FUN to use!
The media could not be loaded. It is a great little saw. It is small enough that is has great maneuverability, but it also packs a HUGE punch with the power. The safety lock was in the perfect position to navigate the tool with one hand, but you can use two for extra stability. The huge power chord that came attached was very useful and gave me ample room to complete the project. This saw can replace so many other saws. This is a perfect tool for anyone looking to save space but still pack a punch on their projects.

Not all it is cracked up to be.
I saw the TV commercial and initially planned to buy one, but the company wanted to charge freight and I could get it without freight from Amazon. Purchased 12/28/19 for $149.85 and it probably has two hours of use. I admit, it sat in my garage for a long time and when I did get it out, it was very confusing. You definitely need two hands to operate, (or be highly coordinated and have a lot of dexterity.) One hand to release the switch guard and the other to press the trigger. You have to be careful because the micro switch has very short travel and if you let up for just a split second, you are using two hands again to get it going. Once going, unless you have huge, strong hands, you need your second hand to release the shoe and you better be on your workpiece because the moment you take it off, the shoe goes back to the safety position and you'll need two hands again to make your next cut. I did use it the other day and it stopped. I could hear it trying, but it wasn't turning and started to smell. Tonight I took it apart and discovered plastic accumulation on the back of the fan where it rubs the housing. The brushes are in bad shape too. Actually there was build up on the armature where two fields were shorted out. I cleaned everything the best I could and put some silicone grease on the back of the fan. I does work, but sounds horrible. I will see what the price is for a new fan and brushes and if too much, I will junk it.I am adding a post script. I finally contacted someone at Rotorazer by email and their reply was to comp me a new saw for the shipping charges. It arrived today. Hopefully this one works better. Figured after writing such a negative review, the company deserves a pat on the back for doing what was right.

Good tool . Could be better. Case is poor.
Although light weight, the tool is a chunk for one hand operation, the depth gauge is in mm, not standard, using the switch and safety at once takes getting used to. Biggest drawback is not seeing the blade on the cut line, there is a point on the front and back of the housing but they are clear and can be hard to see. Black marker fixed that temporarily. The vac hose does indeed help with the saw dust but don't expect it to handle a lot of sheet rock dust. The fixed position of the saw lends itself well to table top heights as well as vertical use. Some practice with scrap is highly recommended. The case is a very light weight thin plastic that will NOT hold up for very long. The slide latches must be perfectly in line or the thing won't close.Getting the cord all waded up and stuffed back in the box is a pain.Changing the blade requires two tools on either side one to hold off and a hex key to turn. Not hard but it would be nice if there was some "on board" storage for these little tools.I bought this to cut 1/4 lament plywood and it works better than my jig saw for straighter cuts and less tearing.Over all the tool is well made. It creates a high exhaust during operation so be sure to wear eye protection.
