Faded Glamour: Inspirational interiors and beautiful homes

Love, love, love this book!

I know they say, "Don't judge a book by it's cover," but I bought this book because of the beautiful cover. Thankfully, the rest of the book does not disappoint. The author separates the book into nine sections...My Faded Glamour, Rustic Faded Glamour, Colourful Faded Glamour, Chic Faded Glamour, Urban Faded Glamour, Sophisticated Faded Glamour, Vintage Faded Glamour, Bohemian Faded Glamour, and Relaxed Faded Glamour. Throughout the book there are two page spreads where she shows off an entire room, but there are also pages where she highlights specific pieces, such as jewelry, clothing, chairs, pillows, etc. Not only is it a beautiful coffee table book to put on display, but it's a great book to look through and swoon over the gorgeous photos. And, I just love how she shows how used, vintage items can make a space so lovely and romantic.

The photography in this book is beautiful. The interiors are old and layered and I really enjoyed the use of color after so many neutral interiors in recent years. Even though this is much more boho than the style in my own home I had fun reading through this book and looking at these homes!

I love Fifi O’Neil’s books and this one doesn’t disappoint. Beautiful all around ♥️

This is a beautifully photographed and written book. I look at it over and over again. I hope there is a second book along this same theme.

This is an absolutely stunning book! If you love romance, shabby, chic and beautiful textiles, this book is a must have for your design library!! Each photo is more gorgeous than the next! Just perfect!!!

I love, love, love this book. It is brimming with an eccentric mixture of things. Now that might not be to everyone's taste, but there are take-away elements for everyone. I highly recommend this book, particularly if you feel held back.

Beautiful pictures, inspirational.

I was very excited to get this book but it turned out to be a big disappointment. To me there's no sense of style really, there's only big spaces cluttered with (nice) antiques. The use of colors makes no sense and the compositions are messy and overly saturated. Didn't like it, only 2 or 3 photos max.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend who loved it. I bought it after hearing an interview with the author on BBC radio London. There are some really nice interiors in the book. In the age of sustainability this book has some great ideas on ways to restore old furniture and objects with little tlc and imagination.
