I've owned three humidifiers in the past (yes, 3, and at different price points), and none of them compare to this one. The first one was some silly animal print one that broke after 4 months. The second was an expensive high end one from amazon that leaks constantly. And the third one was a two-tank setup from costco that also stopped working after a few months and leaks like a mother.This humidifier fixes most of those design flaws. Firstly, it has LED lights, which I thought was cute and good for mood-setting. It has seven different colors, or you can turn it off.Second, it has a big tank (1 gallon), and DOESN'T leak (seriously, you'll come to appreciate this if you owned humidifiers in the past).Third, there's auto-shutoff, which is fantastic. There's also a timer setting where you can set the humidifier to turn off after a certain period of time, ranging from 2 to 8 hours. This is super nice. There's also different mist settings, in case you wanted to change the intensity. This humidifier doesn't make much noise at all, either, so you could definitely use this in your bedroom. I forget to turn things off all the time, so the auto-shutoff comes in handy.But most of all my favorite feature is that it's a TOP FILL HUMIDIFIER!!!!!! Most humidifiers have a separate tank thats annoying to haul to your sink, screw on the cap (it's never fully tight), take back to your base, and probably spill a bunch of water everywhere. That's not an issue with this humidifier since you just fill it from the top!!!Overall though, this is a great humidifier for the price. I can't speak to the longevity just yet since I've only owned it for a couple weeks, but there are many design elements that show that thought was put into this device.

It holds a large amount of water (3.5 L), and has been working for 2 days straight under the lowest strength, yet my huge studio is fully humidified!You don't have to use soft or filtered water as long as you wash it every week or so, and it does a wonderful job diffusing essential oil.And being light, easy to use, and effective isn't enough, it looks gorgeous when it shines different colors in operation. An aspect that you can also easily stop if you want.I highly recommend it!

I’ve used the pur humidifier for over 3 years now. (I believe it’s one of the top choices on Amazon). First for my firstborn and now for my newborn. Although we were content with that humidifier, we had to refill it everyday, which was quite a hassle to walk back and forth downstairs to add filtered water.. and we had to remove the filter tank each time cause it needs to flip over upside down to get refilled. With our second child, we realized we needed something with a larger tank & strong humidity for the dryness in Southern California.Here are the things we like so far:1) the tank is huge. It holds ~14 ish cups of water! This is about 3 x the size of our old humidifier2) doesn’t take up too much surface space. Although this is a larger humidifier, it spans more in height than in circumference. It takes up just a teeny bit more counter space on our child’s dresser than our smaller humidifier.3) humidity is strong. There are 3 levels, but in my opinion, the lowest level looks like the highest level in my old humidifier.4) you can fill water in from the top and just remove the lid. Makes it easy to just leave the humidifier plugged in the room.Things we wish could improve:1) no essential oils allowed?The title and description of the product implies that you can diffuse essential oils, making this a humidifier AND a diffuser, which was a huge draw for me because I diffuse oils in my house, esp when we’re sick. However, the product manual says NOT to add any essential oils or any chemical products/additives into the tank or else you will no longer qualify for the warranty for the product (because it may damage the tank).This was a little confusing and will probably contact the seller about this detail for clarity.Otherwise, it works well as a humidifier and is easy to use.

I really love this humidifier. It seems very elegant and well made. They have thought of everything!1. It has 3 different cool mist settings, and time settings from 2,4,6 or 8 hours.2. I like that it holds nearly 1 gal of water yet it has a relatively small footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room. (Use distilled water and avoid water with lots of hard minerals)3. I didn’t notice any moisture under or around the unit after 8 hours of continuous use. This was important to me because I was worried about potential water damage to surrounding surfaces.4. I love that you have the option of using essential oils in the little hole in the top of thelid. (Mist nozzle A.) Just make sure to avoid putting any additives directly into the water tank or air pipe.)5. It really is very quiet. it has very minimal noise which I can hardly hear, even at night. There is light sounds of the water moving through the humidifier, but again, it is barely noticeable.6. There are 7 colored LED lights for ambiance, or you can turn the lights and display completely off at night.7. It will automatically shut off after the desired time setting or if the water runs out.The only criticism I have so far is that the touch controls took a few minutes to get used to. (I was touching them too hard.) Once I got the hang of it, I found the controls very easy to use. Also, the instruction manual is small and the print is very tiny and hard to read.I am giving this humidifier 5 stars and I highly recommend it!
