A good leg stop
Used it as a supporting leg stop for 1" pvc put in 1-1/4" pvc for a pvc made frame for a shelter. The 1-1/4" pvc is the leg and the 1" is put inside the 1-1/4 for extension to desired height. The coupling is used as a stop to control the height of the leg. I did cut it lengthwise to make it easier to adjust. Think out of the box, not what you would normally use this for.
