I just bought several non stick cookware therefore I was on the market for silicone utensils. After check out quite a few offerings on Amazon I bought this set because I can use almost all the pieces. Also the utensils are encased in silicone that can be melting proof and easy to clean.I didn't use silicone cooking utensils often because i used stainless steel utensils with cast iron skillets. Using non stick skillet I find fish/pancake flipper to be more problematic because it is long, soft, and blunt (edge) to pick up a piece of grilled salmon. However, holding a slotted spatula (the one with a sharper edge) on left hand, I could maneuver a steak or a salmon top side down. I also use chopsticks on right hand and a silicone spatula on left hand when I stir fry.

This is absolutely the best purchase for my kitchen I've made in the past six months. I bought these five months ago, and after using them for awhile, I started giving away my old utensils. Yes, they are a little smaller than you might be used to, but that works great if you're a smaller person (I'm 5'0"). The only one of the set that I'm a little disappointed in is the fish spatula. It's not quite sturdy enough to hold a piece of fish while turning, so you have to just edge under and flip instead. I'll probably replace it with a different fish spatula, but the others are awesome, particularly the green wedge spoon and the slotted spoon.

Silicone is the best material to cook with. Resists high heat, comes in bright colors, non porous so it doesn't stink or is hard to wash and it doesn't scratch your pots. So far so good. Been using it for... 2-3 months now. They take some getting used to and they're never going to be rock hard like metal or even nylon utensils. But seeing how nylon gets melted at the edges which makes eggs stick to it, I was willing to take softer tools if it made clean up easier. Also I can't help but be happy looking at my colorful utensils. I agree that they could be a little bit bigger, but I eat small portions, it's not a big deal for the home cook.

What a handy set of utensils! We recently purchased a set of ceramic coated cookware and needed to stop using our stainless utensils to keep from scratching the coating. This set is soft and easy to grip, but sturdy enough that they won't bend. The purple spatula is about 3" wide in the middle and has a sharp enough edge to get under eggs, etc. The light blue spatula is long enough to get under a decent sized piece of fish. The spoons, while not as big as some of the large plastic ones, are adequate, same for the ladle. They also don't take up as much room in the drawer.

These are great to clean and don't feel greasy (like bambo does) if you have cooked in heavy grease even after washing.The selection of shapes is pretty useful, though I don't find myself using the slotted spoon much. The larger flipper is also not much used, but the rest are very functional shapes.Silicone is good for high temperature apparently, but I wouldn't risk using this for ultra high temperatures like cooking steak indoors on a smoking skillet.

I bought this set to replace my old kitchen tools because I loved the look of them. They are pretty, but they didn't function how I needed them to. The blue turner and green spoon need some kind of reinforcement. Anything I have tried to pick up with it causes it to bend and fall off to the point that I don't even try to use it anymore. The others are okay, but I wasn't that impressed given the glowing reviews this product gets.

Love, love, love these. I love them so much I have purchased them as gifts for friends and family. They are heat safe, all in one construction, and easy to clean. I love that there is no separate parts so I don't have to worry about it coming apart or how clean they are if they separate like some of the other items I had. I have since given away most of my other cooking utensils and replaced them with variations of this set. Sturdy, fun colors, and practical. What is not to love?!

Did not like that two of the pieces (blue spatula and green spoon) were not reinforced all the way to the usable end. The other four pieces are of excellent durability, usage and strength.
