Works with limited guns...
My husband and I purchased this in the 9mm design because we have multiple weapons (including our concealed carry pieces) in this caliber. Sadly, the only pistol it works well with is a Taurus slim 9mm. Apparently, the weapon must be both single and double action, and most weapons are just double actions. We can use it with 1911 platforms, but we have to manually put the hammer back between shots (you try THAT on a timed trial). Other guns, such as our Glocks, have to be manually racked for each shot. It works, but it's not what we thought it would be. Only being able to use it with select weapons really takes away from this. Also, you can only use one of the targets. They give you three, but you have to pay to use the others. I should think with what you pay for the system, they could include all three targets.

Works as designed
This works as it is supposed to. The 2 star deduction is for their app. It should automatically take a screen shot of the target when a shooting session is finished. Also, you only get 2 of the 4 possible practice types for free with the app. The other 2 are $10 each. The markup on this product is already really high but adding more cost on the back end is just insulting. Another issue with the app is that you can't move the area of focus when zooming in. It just goes in and out, you can't properly center the target after zooming in.

REALLY Good But Not Great! (Updated)
I use this with A Taurus G2C with restrike capability on a Samsung 8+.They have now added the Android APPs which is a game-changer!Pros:The app is GREAT for dryfire practice. I don't think you can beat it. I have tried several others. If you don't spend hours at the range this a good substitute. If you do spend hours at the range like I do this is a Great Addition! You can use their targets or your own.Cons:The lighting needed on white targets when using my own is a bit tricky. Not hard but tricky.I can shoot faster with the G2C than the software can register it. (- 1/2 star)If you are seriously training and want to save money on ammo, this is my second choice. My first choice, if available, would be an airsoft pistol with blowback that is of the same design as your carry firearm. That is comparing results and not products. For dryfire practice, this is the best I have seen.

Works great with CZ P-01, no recocking. Effective, convenient, and cheap training.
I'll start with the "cons".While the item arrived very quickly (earlier than expected actually) and was of high quality, I was very disappointed that using the item for practical training required in-app purchases of $9.99 per "game" type that you wanted to unlock. One other major downside is that you have to position your phone within a very specific angle and at a very specific distance from the target in order for it to work. So, don't expect you'll be able to stand up a target in your living room floor and have it work. You need to be able to place your phone fairly close and level to the target for it to work. Like standing the target on the end of the dining table and placing your phone in the middle of the table looking at it.If you are using a striker fired gun, or SAO gun, you will need to recock for every shot. (I was using a DA gun, so that's not a problem for me).It seems like you have to use their targets if you want scoring (I have not confirmed this). But since you aren't actually putting holes in them, they may last forever. So that could be a non-issue.Those were the big cons for me.For the pros:1. The app has a shot timer. Critical for gauging your performance. I practice drawing from the holster and firing on the beep.2. Cost per round is basically zero.3. You know if you are getting good hits.4. Good dry fire practice.5. Different targets and games.Overall, I think it's a good way to get some quality dry fire practice in at home. The biggest beef I had was that they are really trying to make more money off you through the in-app purchases. And that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Works great.
I'm new to being a gunowner. I feel LaserHit has given me familararity with my weapon and the confidence to attend my beginning pistol class as well as concealed carry classes. All within the privacy of my house and without spending cash on range time and ammo. I look forward to using it a time or two per week between range visits.

Not quite what I wanted...
It worked OK. Without recoil, which is never promised of course, it fails to do what I wanted. Not what I needed. They refunded my purchase without any trouble.

Did not work for me
Package was in perfect condition when it got to me. All contents were there & in perfect condition. But, 9mm laser didn't work at all, not even with another set of new batteries. Downloaded the App for the system & found it was not as user friendly as I hoped. I sent the system back for refund. I have friends who have other training systems very similar to this & have no issues. I'm gonna try one of those systems.

Not a bad piece of equipment
It's a good product and it does do what it says but I'm more of an advanced shooter and cock back shoot once cockback shoot again got old. It messed with my timing so after the first time I tried it I just sent it back I'm not saying that it won't work for you but it wasn't what I expected
