It worked great for the first 6 months. The braided cable feels good quality. It was my favorite lightning cable thus far since the extra length allowed me to use my phone in bed while charging. Unfortunately, this cable just stopped working today, Jan 9th. I bought it in June 2015, which was barely 6 months ago. I hoped to get a little more longevity out of this cable.

Loved this cable for the first few months, then the connection started being flaky seemingly out of nowhere. It may just be one problematic cable, but I will not buy another to find out; just ordered the AmazonBasics equivalent because it says they put it through a 4000-cycle 95-degree bend test and that is exactly the kind of quality assurance testing I am looking for after owning so many Lightning cables which have gone bad... The exception with this one is that there is nothing visibly worn or broken; it is just unreliable with regard to maintaining a connection, either for data transfer or charging...

Its very tight connection when trying to use with a Lifeproof Case on iPhone 6SIt fits but its hard press and pull when connecting / disconnecting the cable while in life proof case. I upgraded to the SNX which fits much better.

Great while it lasted. After 8 months, its still cosmetically in great condition, but is no longer charging consistently. Have to bend it back and forth for power to pass through. Will look elsewhere for a replacement.

I said Goodbye to the 3ft. Charging cord that came with my I-Pad. It was a pain in the butt because I could rarely get close enough to use it while charging. I started browsing and came across the 6.6 ft Nylon Braided Charge cord. I ordered it for the length and it paid for itself the first night. I was able to plug in and rest in bed with full power. The braided cord is more heavy duty and stiff enough to bend it.

This cable was not used heavily and failed after 9 months. It is typically used about every 3 days...so that means I got about 90-100 uses out of it before the connector failed. I would expect that from a standard cable (maybe) but not a premium cable. I have been in the electronics accessories business for 30 years and I know how to properly treat cables to prevent abuse so this cable really should have lasted much longer. It's too bad, the design and manufacturing quality look excellent. I really thought I had something good here. I am going to try the Anker brand. I bought some of their micro USB cables about 6 months ago and they are performing well in a much harsher environment (a car in Texas).

I love this cable. Though it's a bit longer than I need, I find that I don't mind so much. After what seemed like a million cables breaking at the joints for either output, I decided to try something a bit more well-made. It hasn't been a disappointment. Plus, it's pretty to look at.2/9/17 update: Original is still kicking butt and taking names, so I bought another one this week. It's just as awesome and well-built as the first one I bought, and I'm glad to have a second one around.

Seems like a nice cord, but WILL NOT work with Otterbox cases; the ends are too big.
