LifeProofFRE SERIES Waterproof Case for iPhone 11 Pro Max - CHALK IT UP (EVERGLADE/CHATEAU GRAY)

Fre screen protector ‘sticks’ to iPhone 11 Pro Max screen and creates what looks like an oil slick between the phone’s screen and the case’s screen protector. When you take the case apart to remove the phone you can hear the screen protector as it reluctantly peels off the phone’s screen. Called Lifeproof and used their dryer fabric softener work around and it did nothing. Seems like a larger product design issue based on similar reviews. I’ve used Fre for years on other iPhones (no issues) and have been a big fan. This one’s a dud.

I am sorely disappointed with lifeproof. This case will bubble up on the screen and there is no way to stop it. I have used their cases for years but no more. I would give them no stars if I could.

The front cover sticks to the phone and causes a water/oily effect that it is very annoying. I called Lifeproof and they are aware of the issue.UPDATE - If you are buying these cases for the iPhone 11 make sure that they do not have the screen issue we all seem to be having. LifeProof thinks that has found the solution but it is not the case. After struggling for days trying to get a replacement from them, when I finally received the cases, they still have the same problem. I also found a new issue; the cases are so tight that they do not properly close on the top so I wonder if they are waterproof at this point. I hope this helps. I received my lifeproof and I’m pleased to say it’s a great fit on my 11 Pro Max. No bubbles, sound is great, the new mute switch is a little small so it’s kind of hard to activate but I have my assistive touch on so it’s not too much of an issue for me personally, though it is something to note. I do have bigger hands so that may be what my issue is but of course your mileage will vary. Touch sensitivity is great almost feels as though I’m touching the screen itself, and the camera quality is unaffected as well as you’ve come to expect. The lightning port received an update, and it’s a lot easier to get into than before. I always wash my phone off when I get home from work because of the nature of my job, plus our cell phones are quite the microbial hideaway, I’m pleased to say no water got through as I type this review. If you have any other questions I failed to answer let me know and I’ll do my best to answer them. Again this is one of the best ones yet in my opinion, and the beauty of getting it through amazon is fast shipping and it’s a fraction of the cost! What are you waiting for?! If you want a waterproof case look no further.

I should have read the other reviews and looked at the images. They display and describe exactly what happened to mine as well. There is no way to use this case without it producing the "oil-slick" shown in the other pictures. I've used numerous lifeproof cases before without any problem and are my main go to because I like the port covers and minimal thickness. This is sadly subpar design and not worth the money. Like the others have stated, I wish I could give this a 0 star review

Very disappointed of this product, it bubbles up and it’s impossible to remove them, poor design hopefully lifeproof can innovate the design since they have a huge reputation, others than that the case is solid, did the water test and it was a success. So if the bubbles on the screen won’t bother by all means go ahead and purchased it

So I already purchased the black color version of this case, and it’s trash. Bubbles all over the screen and case does not seem to snap closed well.I ordered this one since it was on sale for almost half what I paid for the black one, and LifeProof is sending me a replacement on the black one I bought from them.SO FAR, this case (not sure if it’s because it’s a different color, if I got lucky, or what magic came to be) but this case is much better.It SEEMS, as best as I can tell to seal all the way, and while I do have SOME of the bubble/water effect it’s waaaaaay less and looks much better.The only real negative so far is that the rubber band that I guess is the seal or whatever, that’s in the back portion of the case, was just sitting inside the box. It took me about 15 minutes to get it to actually stay installed in the back portion of the case, but I am not entirely sure (but am hopeful) that it remained intact when I snapped the back together - if it did not then I assume waterproofness is gone, but I don’t want to keep uninstalling and reinstalling just to find out.My replacement for my original case will arrive next week and I may see if it’s better than my first one, but am starting to think the issues may be mainly with the black cases since they were the first ones available and maybe had a bad batch - the majority of the negative feedback I have seen has been for those.Edit - After awhile the bubble/water effect has returned — HOWEVER it is still, not yet at least, anywhere near as horrible as it is/was with the previous case.

I read the reviews. I should have stayed away. Brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max just out of the box unwrapped it at the same time as I unwrapped the LifeProof case cleaned it triple cleaned it double cleaned it there's no moisture dry office with the heat on. Awful just awful

I've had quite a few different Lifeproof cases and never had a problem but this one is simply horrible in regards to the bubbles it creates on the screen and the gap when you close the case up. After some "investigation", it seems that it's a problem with the case and Lifeproof has known about since last year when it came out and still hasn't done anything to solve apparently.Not happy at all and my confidence in the brand is gone.

Have always used lifeproof cases on my past iPhones and never had a problem. However I have found that this case doesn’t close properly, I got a replacement and that is exactly the same

For a £50 case it fits pretty poorly, that price you expect perfect , not overly happy with it

the plastic bit covering the camera popped off already. Is this in the warranty?
