Foamnseal FNS 850 45" Foam Dispensing Gun

My only gripe is that the gun was missing a pivot pin for the trigger. As such, it was unusable. I had an assortment of plastic wall anchors on hand and found one that fit perfectly in the pivot hole. Once I had the trigger working, the gun performed flawlessly. The Great Stuff product can secured nicely to the gun, no leakage. The product dispensed easily and I was able to complete the project as planned. The Great Stuff cleaning solution flushed the gun barrel clean. I would have rated this five stars if the gun had arrived fully assembled.

The dispensing of foam is a bit spotty. When I first attached a can of foam it would not work at all. Attached a can of cleaner and got that to flow.Then re-attached same can of foam and it then worked correctly. Cleaned gun very well with screw on cleaner. Next time I went to use it it dispensed very slowly with a new can of foam and has had a slow action ever since. Took same can of foam and put on a different gun and worked fine. I also bought the 30" gun and this same review applies to it. My standard length gun of a different brand has worked perfectly every time I use it.

Product blows up within weeks have to keep reordering too often

Worked fantastic for awhile but then in spite of making sure it was cleaned very, very carefully after each use using the spray acetone you run through the gun -- something happened. Now when I screw a can of foam onto the gun it leaks at the seal no matter how carefully or tightly I have the can of foam seated into the gun. I've tried recleaning the gun twice using several cans of the acetone treatment all to no avail. I'd love to hear from the manufacturer or vendor and hear what they have to say about this.

Used this gun to air-seal the exterior top-plates in my attic with a low slope roof. There is no way I would have been able to get at this location with a normal foam gun. The long barrel on this gun made an otherwise miserable job much more tolerable.

It works, but not very good at all. The can leaks horribly. I usually wrap several layers of paper towel around the handle/ base of the can so the foam doesn't get all over my hand and down my arm. If you don't wrap it, you will have a ball the size of a medium sized pumpkin above your hand.

It does work as advertised however the can does not seal very well. You need to tighten the can pretty tight and it still seeped a little. It does work very well with good control of the foaming.

Used it once and got clogged really quickly not sure because of the different can of foam but at the end of the day i switch it out put the cleaner and nothing came out i would get hilti
