My Brother *still* LOVES this!
Comfortable/adjustable fit, excellent magnification with your choice of several different magnification levels, hands free light which is plenty bright all make it terrific. My brother has lost some focus in his closeup vision as he's getting a little older. He feels like this is his perfect solution for working on his vehicles and garage projects. Total win.******* UPDATE *******A month later, my brother called out-of-the-blue and left a voice mail telling me enthusiastically how he wanted to thank me AGAIN for the magnifiers! OK, so what you don't know is that he usually gives me all his news and weather report in his voice mails. This was a single subject voice mail. Obviously he called for the express purpose of letting me know he's still really excited to have these magnifiers. In his message, he said they help with all kinds of stuff -- like using his cell phone!!! (And as we all know, THAT is so essential now!) I want to sincerely thank the reviewer who indicated these can help out 'old guy' vision for tasks!!! You. Are. So. Effing. Right. Opens up the world in important little ways for my brother. 😍 Yay!!! 🥳--------------------------------------UPDATE:Several months later, my brother called me up, out-of-the-blue, just to tell me how much he enjoys this magnifier! He said he uses it "all the time," and pointed out he especially likes having it for using his cell phone. He'd had significant trouble reading smaller lettering before; but, now he's able to use his cell phone without being hampered. He uses it for a quick read on a lot of everyday things (labels, etc.). And, besides this phone call, he has mentioned it other times as well during our regular phone conversations. He lives a couple states away, so it was nice to be able to do something truly helpful for him. He just LOVES this magnifier. I still feel grateful to the reviewers who bought before I did. My decision to buy was based on their reviews and boy were they right.

Good for Hobby/Project Work
The Light:- charged very quickly and has held the charge after being stored for over two weeks- turned out to be a helpful feature when overhead or other light can't reach the work pieceThe Lenses:- inspected for scratches/blemishes upon product receipt = pass / no issues- lens case is compact, sturdy and easily accessible- lens cloth wipe included- decent selection/options for required magnification (see Summary)The Headpiece- As comfortable as one might expect. Not perfect, but not distracting or uncomfortable.- Adjustable (by bending) nose piece/support is helpful. I had to adjust mine but once I did, it was much more comfortable- Light and glass angles are adjustable independently which makes it much easier to get the angles needed for light and viewing- I see a lot of these headsets on Amazon and most look 99% the same. with only a different "brand" slapped on them. Make sure you get one with a head strap included. I found the heads trap to be the better choice for comfort and stability.Summary:I needed something with enough magnification for taxidermy work, specifically for setting teeth in very small skulls, like a mole skull. I also needed something for working on guitar cavity wiring/soldering. This headset worked well for both. This is one of those "why didn't I get one of these sooner" kind of things. I now keep the headset in it's box next to my other tool boxes as it has become a welcome addition to the set.

Makes my hobby more enjoyable!
Excellent for close work. I’m a bead weaving jewelry hobbyist. The different lenses are very easy to change. It has a light fixture so you can see. It has a carrying case, which makes being organized easy. But the reason I chose this one was it was rechargeable! No more running to the store for batteries!

Well worth it
This is just what my old eyes needed.I had been having trouble working on small things and found out I needed cataract surgery to correct that. My eyesight improved and I can now see anything I want unless it's something important. I still have trouble with detail. I tried drug store glasses and found I would need to buy several. I didn't like that, and I still needed to hold a flashlight to see what I was doing. Holding a flashlight, solder, and soldering gun with 2 hands wouldn't work so I decided to give these magnifiers a chance. The lenses could be wider but overall they are great. The light is enough without being too much and I find them comfortable enough to get the job done.I like the glass lenses and the ability to recharge. Battery life seems acceptable but I haven't clocked the total time between charges because I only use the light when I need it.For the money they are a big step forward for me over buying a handful of drugstore glasses with different magnification.

Ideal magnification for close work
A couple of times a week I have to do very close-up work that begs for magnification. This ingenious device provides a half dozen close lenses with bright illumination for a fraction of the price of high-end binocular-style glasses used by dentists and craftspeople. Lenses are easy to change for a full range of magnification. The lenses are also open, like glasses, rather then tunnel-focused so you can see all around the object at issue. The very comfortable glasses-type frame holds a small, bright light that maximizes vision in darker places. Close up lenses with strong magnification have short focal depths, the range of distance the object is from you while being in sharp focus. You provide the right focal depth by moving your head closer or further away for the object to be in ideal focus. I couldn't be more pleased with this very simple device. The lenses are crystal clear, and I can see with both hands free to attend to the tineast details.
