FEL-PRO MS 98002 T Engine Intake Manifold Gasket Set for Chevrolet S10

Absolutely the way to go on any Vortec gasket job. Superb quality. But like other posters said, FelPro is LAME for not individually labelling the smaller o-rings. For example, I found by accident/luck that two of the smaller o-rings were used where the fuel pressure and return lines enter the upper intake manifold, but were NOT replacements for the top yellow rubber "spacer" rings. Instead you have to remove the metal washers in the intake holes to expose the o-rings to be replaced.

My 2002 1500 was leaking both oil and coolant overboard. 82k on the clock. This gasket set is excellent. Instructions say 5mm bead on the front and back but I didn't think the provided tiny tube of silicone would do it so I just used some I had. Good idea to clean silicone area with your flavor of degreaser so the silicone sticks. I used white plumbers Teflon sealant on the 8 bolts. 132 in-lbs felt kinda light so I went 132 and a "bump" Even comes with the 2 tiny fuel line o-rings. 5 stars

Very high quality kit, comes with all the gaskets you need. My gaskets were blown so oil was getting in the coolant and vice versa, and I'm glad I went with this kit. Id recommend picking up some permatex or something similar, and make sure you put a bead of it down in the corners where the heads meet the block BEFORE putting your intake gaskets on.

Felpro makes the best gaskets period. They are American made and the only replacement. This kit was perfect for changing the intake gasket in my s-10. The kit is complete with valve cover, upper, lower and other gaskets. Price is better then any store in 50 miles of me.

Worked perfect for my 99 blazer. Originals failed around 150,000 miles. I can't believe the cheap plastic ones lasted that long. These are metal with rubber coating and should last forever. It is a pretty big job, just be patient and take notes and pictures so you will have something to look back on to route everything right and you won't forget to hook something back up. Even if you decide to have a mechanic do the job, I would go ahead and buy this kit for them to install so you know you won't ever have to do this job again.

Fit perfectly.The engine I purchased this for was a 1999 GMC Jimmy 4.3 litre.The weakness of these engines are the intake gaskets, Most of these, gaskets are either composite, or nylon.The Felpro Gasket has a metal core. They can take the heat and the cold. The valve cover, the upper intake,. and throttle body injection gaskets are of superior material and of good fit.They are easily from 10 to 20 dollars more that the competition and their on next lower priced offering.I looked at the purchase as if, I was purchasing insurance for a future mechanical bill.It takes quite a while to change out these gaskets.This is money well spend

Great quality. Very pleased with all aspects. Would be nice if they included a diagram to indicate what the o'rings were for. Kind of had to figure that out on my own by matching them up with the old ones. No big deal.
