Fat CatBulletz 90% Tungsten Soft Tip Darts

I am a basement, recreational dart player. I'll have a few friends over to watch football or basketball, then we'll throw some darts before or after the game. So keep that in mind when I say I really like these darts. I won't be comparing these to the very high dollar darts, because I've never thrown them. They're out of my league (pun intended).Regardless, I do have several sets of decent, non-tungsten darts. Decent for the basement player, anyway. In comparing to them, these darts are much slimmer and have a more solid feel about them. I seem to throw a tighter grouper, albeit not always where I'm aiming. The consistency is there, though...The flights wore out fairly quickly, even with protectors. But I really think this is because my groupings are so much tighter, I am hitting the darts against each other much more often. So I can't say this is a flight problem, as much as it is a problem from improved play. The aluminum shafts are fine, but you do need to get some O'rings to keep them from twisting loose. The case is nice, but I don't really care about cases since I don't generally travel with them.All in all, a good dart for the money.

These are a really good value. Nice tungsten barrels with a grip that lets me place my fingers in the same place accurately. That feature was the most important one for me when shopping. I don't care for barrels with a continuous grip, as a repeatable grip placement is very important for accuracy. The flights and shafts are very cheap, but that's to be expected. The flights are pretty floppy and don't sit fully straight (blades are twisted). The shafts are flexible instead of stiff, and don't grip the flights all that hard. I swapped out for some better plastic shafts (I like the way they throw with plastic over aluminum for now, but it's a barely noticeable difference for someone of my beginner skills).That said, they fly just fine stock, and I definitely prefer them over my buddies' brass barrels of same weight.The paper flights get beat up pretty quick when hit by other darts. I picked up a 20-pack of random flights for cheap to replace the stock ones. The case is pretty decent for a cheap small one, you have to pull the flights off, but it fits in the pocket nicely, and the interior door is nice to have and works well. The darts clip in tightly, which can bend the stock shafts when pulling them out. They straighten easily.Overall very happy, really good for the price. Equivalent to $35 darts easily.A buddy bought the same set 2 days after me, and his came with a set of aluminum shafts installed, and the spares are also aluminum. His barrels have a very slightly rounded back end as well, where mine is fully straight. So expect a bit of variation possible.

I'm by no means a dart expert, but I got these as an upgrade from the cheaper darts I'd been playing with in the past. These are very nice and well-made. They have good grip and feel nice in your hand. They're way slimmer than my old darts that were about the same weight.As other reviews have mentioned, the stems and flights are really flimsy, but those parts are super cheap even for much nicer ones, so maybe order a few extras along with these so you can swap them out. A lot of people are saying the case is garbage but I didn't think it was that bad. It feels like it will hold up fairly well for a plastic case.

Great price for a great set of darts. These were my first set of darts, and even after buying two other (more expensive) sets, I've found myself returning to these. The top of the barrel is ever-so-slightly thicker than the middle/bottom, which I really like. The grip is great as well-- not overbearing, but always enough to feel secure in your hand, even if you have a looser grip. While the shafts pair nicely, I ended up putting the 8-Flight spinning shaft/flight system on it. I found these darts to be perfect (for me at least) when attached to short stems (19–23mm)The only thing I'd like to be improved is the durability of the flights (especially since the design is cool). The top of the flights are rather easy to tear up after a couple dozen closely grouped throws. Other than that minor knock, these darts are really good.

I love these darts however the points went blunt after hitting the wire or other darts too many times. My other sets do not go blunt so it is down to the way these points are manufactured or the material. They can be sharpened and get back to a decent state but disappointing from an otherwise excellent set of darts for the price

I bought these darts after joining a league and finding that the first set of darts I bought just weren't working out for me. These are really nice. The best part about them is that the shafts don't come loose when your playing like a lot of darts do. They come with a tightener in case the shafts come loose but I have never had to use it and have been shooting darts with them for the past 15 weeks. The case is nice and the darts come with 6 extra shafts, a tightener, and an extra set of flights, so you get a lot for your money. The barrel is thin for tighter groupings.

90% Tungsten barrels at less than $30?! This is essentially a, "build-a-dart," situation through. You are definitely getting a GREAT deal even though you'll probably replace the other components.The flights are usable if you punch them, as are the stems if you get creative. They will snugly hold a 150 micron flight. My suggestion would be to glue in cheap flights and use the setup on cheaper barrels for kids or your less skilled friends lol! Back to the barrel. The machining is flawless. The 2ba thread is silky smooth. The outside is nice and grippy without overly sharp ridging. The barrel is long enough for a 3 finger grip. Barrel thickness good for tight grouping. I've thrown a few hat tricks in my first 10 games with these. The finish is more brushed stainless in color, not polished or chrome. They feel evenly weighted. On a gram scale, their weight is perfect across the set.

I haven't thrown darts in over 20 yrs, so this was an experiment in buying darts without holding them & throwing them first. Based on the positive vs negative reviews, this one had the highest percentage of any dart set under $100. After getting use to throwing again, these darts do what I wanted them to do, i.e land where I want them to land. Finally, I like what came with these darts. I switched to the longer shafts that were originally on the darts, plus lots of extra shafts, and another 3 flights which all came in a nice hard cover.

Bit disappointed as I ordered these darts as the description said pink even though the picture was blue. So I assumed that though the pic was of a blue set the actual description said pink in stock and that’s the colour I wanted. I really couldn’t b bothered to go to the hassle of sending them all back as I knew no point in reordering as I’d probably only get blue again.

Very good barrel ! Just have to change flight and shaft.
