Magswitch tools are awsome!
I bought some other Magswitch tools and have found them to be indispensable, so I tried this mini angle too. It is super handy and I plan on getting more of them. The mini is pretty small but sometimes that is what you need to hold the work and still not be in the way. Has a surprising magnetic grip. If you are looking to hold three foot long sections together don't go with this size, it is perfect for clips and pieces like that. Like the magnetic ground clamp that Magswitch sells, when you turn off the magnet the tool drops all the metal filings.

Smaller than expected.
Smaller than expected. For it's size it's decently strong. LOVE the electromagnetic. On and off. easy to clean. get exact settings before turning on. Easy to turn on and off. now please make this product bigger. If there's a bigger one send me the link.

On: holds everything in place. Off: drops even metal shavings
I use this for all sorts of projects. Being able to turn "off" the magnet is more useful then you may first think. Say you get it in a ton of metal shavings. Turn it off and it is very easy to clean it of all metal after. Cheaper ones you have issues getting every last bit of metal off it.Only issues are that the metal it's made of is a little soft and can dent or scratch easily. Be careful with it and you will be fine. Also it could be a bit stronger to hold larger pipe/sheets of metal. Then again for the money it does plenty well. As long as your not expecting to hold a substantial chunk of metal it will do just fine. I'm glad I got it!

Perfect
Amazing tool for the money, i use it every day at work as a welder fabricator. I also have 5 of the "165" the square one with the plunger handle and by far this o e is more versitile, just doesnt hokd as much. If your looking to a magnet for little to medium jobs then this is it.

Metalworkers top 3 best friends.
My most used square. Not only does it hold on to the metal very strongly for welding, its size is perfect for holding on to whatever knife I'm sharpening or metal I'm grinding. Will definitely have to buy more since I'm constantly looking for it to use.

I liked it so much I just bought another one today
Bought one of these a couple weeks ago to finish a project. I'll never go back to using permanent magnets again after using this one. I liked it so much I just bought another one today.

I'd spend the extra $ on the big one.
This one I had to actually machine the edges square. It's pretty cool now, but just buy the bigger size block w/o angle plates, bigger ones are much more useable

Works great for small parts
Versatile and a plenty strong for small jobs. Only issue is that the rubber coating on the knobs melts off easily.
