After taking this out of the box, two rhinestones immediately fell off. Disappointing but at least it isn’t too noticeable. We put it on the tree and it was pretty heavy and difficult to balance so that it would stand straight on the 6.5 foot artificial tree. After a lot of adjustments we did finally get it to stand straight and it looked nice. However, it seems to be eating through the 3 AA batteries. After only 2 days the lights are noticeably dim. I guess it is good enough but wish I’d bought something else.

We got a second tree this year so I needed a second star. This looked pretty online. It arrived with one of the gems fallen off, we glued it back on. It looks a little cheaper in person then it did online. Its not the best quality and the battery box is clunky and the switch is in an awkward place. Its not bad for the price though considering most other light ups stars were $35-$50. Next year I think ill replace it with a plug in star though as I do often forget to turn it on and off when the rest of the tree is on a timer.

The unit I received has drained 3 of my new AA batteries in a week. The light coming off the topper is not substantially bright, and you can tell the brightness dimmed over the week until the batteries died. I don't think this is worth the trouble if I have to use a dozen of AA batteries to keep it lit for the month of December on my Christmas tree.

As soon as I put this on my tree, it fell over landed on the floor and the star broke off from the base! And I straightened 5 branches on my tree to support this star and wove the battery pack down into the tree. Very poorly made! Asked asked for a refund and threw this in the trash!

Up close and personal the star is very prettty, but unless it is lit you don’t really see it. (I didn’t read that it was battery operated) the top is very heavy and is a little unstable. Not great for my artificial tree...

lights could be brighter and the battery box needs to be made easier to slide open, mine cracked when i slid it to open it and it cracked.

It was a beautiful tree topper, but unfortunately I had a 4.5 foot tree and the topper was too large for my tree and I had to return it. Had I had a bigger tree I would have kept it and enjoyed seeing it atop my tree.

Beautiful Star the only downfall is it’s battery operated. I really wish it was a plug in so it can be connected to lights & turned off along with the tree lights. I have to dig into the tree to find the battery holder& switch just to turn off the star. Otherwise it’s a very pretty topper.
