I was in need of a new mailbox and I have always had the typical standard size metal boxes that tend to rust after a while.I have an e-commerce shop online and I send packages out on the regular, and receive many packages as well.I typically would try to watch for the mail carrier and run out the packages that would not fit in my mailbox, which was very often, so when I came across this mailbox, I was so thrilled to order it.It arrived a few days ago and I have to say it is absolutely awesome and probably the best and most useful mailbox I’ve ever purchased!Now, it is an oversize mailbox, and I mean VERY oversized, probably triple the size of a regular mailbox. The measurements listed on here are accurate so you can see for yourself how large it actually is.It is made out of very thick and durable plastic and will definitely last a very long time.It also has a magnetic clasp, which I absolutely love because it clicks shut .It is quite simple to assemble, however it does not come with a post needed to plant it into the ground.The same company that makes this mailbox sells a small post kit on line where it is a 2 foot beam and a spike that goes into the ground.I had initially purchased it, but when I received it, there was absolutely no way that it would support this mailbox.Keep in mind, the mailbox is very top-heavy . It Needs a really great support.I ended up purchasing a 6 foot beam that was 4 x 4 and that worked perfectly. That way it goes all the way up to the top of the mailbox which is really what you would need and then it went almost 3 feet into the ground. It looks really large when you first receive it and open up the package, but once it is outside, it just looks really nice and eye-catching.Also, it does not come with any numbers, so you would need to purchase those separately.On each side is the indented space where you would put the numbers and it is a little less than 3 inches high, so the letters I purchased were 2.75 inches tall and were perfect. I purchased metallic three-dimensional numbers that they look absolutely awesome.So, if you’re looking for a new mailbox and tend to send out or receive packages, I cannot recommend this any higher! It is absolutely perfect.If you just sent and received typical letters and smaller items, then this may be a little bit big for you.I hope my review helps you to make a more well-informed decision.

This mailbox is super easy to install. It is perfect for large packages. It is very sturdy and it looks great. My mail carrier loves not having to come to my door to drop off packages that will fit in this mailbox.

I LOVE my new box! It is large enough to hold the priority boxes from usps.The mail lady is So Happy with me!I made an error on assembly... had the floor of the box upside-down, was matching the insides : ( very difficult to take apart! Really pay close attention to the photos and the step by step instructions... I jumped a step and had to disassemble another piece (back of box)To get the pieces apart you must bend them and then have someone bang the piece backwards... there are little locking grooves; the groove thing sits down in a little ditch, hence you will need to bend the sides down and give a punch backwards to remove the groove thing out of the ditch.Again, be careful to look for details in the assembly photos... truly was easy, I was in a hurry and it was dark... so I had to spend a hot minute looking about to reverse my assembly ; )Everyday I enjoy getting my mail... no more jammed full box (many times having to use an exacto knife to retrieve my mail!)This box has plenty of room... none of my mail is crinkled up or damaged.It is waterproof... my other box didn't appear to have any holes but the mail would be warped on rain days... No More!!!One of the neighbors told me I had the Best Box on the street!!!I put on reflective tape and added an address plate to the top of the box ( both from Lowes)Then I poured mulch around the bottom so Weeds won't crowd round it... and, I added one of those solar lights $10. @ Lowes...It's extremely visible at night... a nice marker for my driveway- dark country road.I was surprised how happy a new mailbox could make me... seriously, I enjoy making the trek up my long drive to get the mail!I believe everyone could only LOVE this box!!!PS... my brother put a 6' post in the ground $10. @ Lowes, and used 2 bags of instant mortar... it does NOT rock about- very stout!

I needed a larger mailbox that would accommodate the packages we receive so often from USPS so the mailman doesn't have to constantly come up my long driveway. I also wanted a mailbox system that didn't require a post set in a concrete filled hole - reason being is that living on a highway our mailbox gets knocked down about every other winter by the snowplows. This mailbox is nearly perfect for my needs. It is not only very large, but it also looks very nice and has more mounting options.I also purchased the Gibraltar 2 foot post and angle iron system to mount it into the ground. This worked, but I wasn't satisfied with its stability, so I connected another foot or so of post to make it 3+ feet, and then I attached a 15" long 4.5" wide piece of board to the top of the post and overhanging it by a few inches. Here's why - the one big con to this mailbox is that the hollow plastic post is so much wider than the 4x4 posts it slides over. As you may know, a 4x4 post is actually only 3.5x3.5, and the width of the post sleeve is about 4.5", which leaves a full inch of wiggle room for this mailbox. This is why I added the 4.5" board at the top of my post addition, which took all the wiggle out and made it super stabile.My mailbox was missing its magnetic door catch. I contacted the customer service telephone number on the instruction sheet and spoke to a nice lady down south somewhere. She said she would send one right out to me, and she did!I do recommend this mailbox as long as you are aware of the mounting challenges. It was super easy to assemble, looks great, and will hold most everything the USPS has coming for me.

Es un producto totalmente de plastico tipo juguete. Necesitaras algun material "duro" para mantenerlo fijo. Es dificil de armar. Las piezas no estan marcadas y el instructivo no es de mucha ayuda ya que se omite muchos pasos.Me lo quedo por que me urge algo provisional, pero para algo permanente no se recomienda.

This mailbox was easy to put together and install (we already had a post in place from our previous mailbox). Great size and so far fits most of my packages. Definitely recommend. 😀Would prefer if it did not say US Mail on the front as I’m not in the US.

Very sturdy and large enough to receive packages! Very stylish compared to other ones I’ve seen. Highly recommend

The box has gone through a really cold Canadian winter and still looks great.
